I think it's finished, I only need to but some stuff for the base. Thank you for your previous kind words and advice, I like this washing technique. Fleur de lis are not the celanest, but I like the artsy feel of it. CC welcome! Imrahil and the captain are on their way, also will recive a box of plastic knights soon. One thing I'd like to improve is the silver amror, I have to try with shading it with white spots next time because I'm not really too happy with it. The miniature is probably overdone but I have to worm up a bit, I'had a long pause from the hobby.
Seems like nobody brings this one up should they have been included in the movie .
TolkienArt is a place were redditors can post their favorite personal Tolkien Art, or their favorite Tolkien artists. All posts should be related to the works of J. R. R. Tolkien.
Welcome to r/tolkienfans! This subreddit is a space for the Tolkien nerds of reddit to debate and discuss the whole Tolkien mythos. We emphasise serious discussion here over jokey/meme-based posts. In the second book of the fellowship of the ring, while the fellowship rest next to the river Nimrodel, Legolas sings a song. He sings about the maiden Nimrodel and her lover, the Elven-king Amroth.
“… and [Nimrodel] was lost far in the South, in the passes of the White Mountains; and she came not to the ship where Amroth her lover waited for her.”
We know that the Elves of Lórien set sail in the Bay of Belfalas:
“… and Anduin flows into the Bay of Belfalas whence the Elves of Lórien set sail.”
The city Dol Amroth also lies in the Bay of Belfalas. As far as I know it is a city of Men.
But is there a connection between the Elven-king Amroth and the city Dol Amroth. Because I can hardly believe that it’s a coincidence that they have the same name. I hope some of you can answer my question. Thank you in advance!

hi everyone! this morning i've seen a pic of a kataphract with a lance (mindblowing) so I thought: what if kataphracts had lances? and my answer to that it was: as stats they would be the same as knights of dol amroth (once taken the black dragon upgrade) fact is that I am right! as the stats would be the same! but here's the sketchy part of the post: koda costs 20 point once all geared up, while a ek with gear and upgrade is 16 points, if we add 1 point for the lance it would be 17! why is that? because of the banner rule with prince imrahil? because koda are in a good faction? because they can have a lance? wich is actually a +1 on 4 dices to wound? so its 4 points? all of the previous guesses at once?
just let me know your thoughts about this bug! and what do you think about me converting some of my kataphracts? i just want to see how powerful they are with lances! (i have never been to a tournament and I only play with my friends... but I am Willing to go to some friendly tournaments in the future.)
thus sayd now ride for wrath, ride for ruin! and the world' Ending! DEEEATH! :)
