The gem economy for new players is fucked.

Think about it. When we started all we needed was to save 4.5k gems to get 5 builders. After that we could spend it on whatever we wanted. Cosmetics, books, loot, finishing upgrades etc.

But now with the recent updates they’ve absolutely destroyed that. No new player will have freedom to do as they wish with their gems for like 2 years of playing. They need 4.5k for builders, 6k for 4 epic equipment and 6.5k for apprentice builder. A new casual player will see apprentice builder and think it’s important too because everyone knows builders= must buy.

This is absolutely daunting for any new player and my thoughts of ever starting an alt account is gone because of this mountain of gems I’ll need. Don’t know what the devs were thinking.

Edit: This post doesn’t even go into any returning players. Imagine you haven’t played for a few months you come back and all of a sudden you need 6k gems for 4 epic equipments and are months of ore behind.

So many of ye are missing the point talking about eventually you can get it and that you don’t need epic equipment and apprentice builder. My point is that new players have to get all these gems where as before they didn’t. Gonna put off loads of players
