I'm starting my studies in cybersecurity next month. I already have a background in web development working for myself, and love software development as a whole.

But two years ago I was charged for Felony evasion and wreckless driving. The police lied, the judge dropped the charges.

I never attempted to evade, and was in the middle of a mental crisis and needed psychiatric help because I'm bipolar and was having a manic episode (my medication wasn't right yet).

But it shows up on my Chekr background check as an arrest without a conviction. I was denied on the Veryable app for the arrest, and I'm really concerned it will affect my ability to work in cybersecurity.

What would be the top three threats to college students these days from scammers and hackers?

I read the pinned post but it just says to do CTF. I don’t even know how I would do that. Serious answers please, I’m lost.
