Whatever happens in Grand Finals, I am already impressed and thankful for this GenG team

Can I just say all games of GenG this Masters Shanghai are probably one of the most entertaining games in a while. For some reason every time they're matched up against someone, analysts and viewers always look forward to their matchups the most.

Going from LEV and Aspas to scrappy FPX in Swiss, and then beating the Western number 1 seeds in FNC and 100T. I feel like GenG did not have an easy road at the start but nonetheless performed well enough to reach where they are right now beating teams with world-class players along the way.

During Madrid it almost felt like a one-time kinda thing that a team like GenG (despite their strong showing) would make it given it was a new roster. Part of me felt like it was because of Madrid's format with just 8 teams and it being held early this year that GenG performed the way that they did with fewer competition. But now in Shanghai after going all through those teams in a much bigger and longer tournament, this team is the real deal.

After being so consistent after two international tournaments, I hope that they finally make Pacific proud by winning their first international. Very talented players and very funny personalities off the stage as well. Whatever happens on Sunday, good luck to GenG and thank you for making Masters Shanghai a joy to watch and follow both in their personal streams and official matches!

Ggs!
