A lot of episodes try to paint Mona as some sort of hero, while making Abe the villain. Mona left Homer continuously. She chose her beliefs over Homer. Oh they showers a scene of her looking down at Homer before she left. SO WHAT!! You’re ultimately dooming Homer to a worse life by not being there. And stop vilifying Abe. Abe stayed and though not a little ray of sunshine did his best to give Homer a good life, even selling his house so Homer could buy one.
