Everyone in the scene is currently waiting for the other shoe to drop – to hear Dr. Alan and Panda's side of the story. This seems like a wise move, there's not much to be gained from rushing to drastic action (resignations, confirmed boycotts) without all the information.

But I'm surprised that Panda have stayed completely silent so far, which makes me wonder: what if we've already got all the information we're going to get? What if they simply turtle up and try to weather the storm? What if all we ever here from Nintendo is the Kotaku 'plausible deniability' statement and future TOs are just left in legal limbo?

What should the community response be then? How do we proceed with boycotts, licensing issues, etc? How much time do we allow? I don't have any good answers here but these seem like questions worth raising.

At 5pm Eastern Today (2/14)! We'll be hosting a tournament to celebrate the launch of For Honor with our first event: War Rising! Thanks to Lords and Ladies at Maingear, Vertagear, HyperX, IntoTheAM, Smash.gg and Ubisoft, we've put together an event worthy of the gods!

Tournament Format:

• Single elimination

• best of 3 (first to win 2 games) until Semifinals which will start at Best of 5.

• Legal maps for this event will be: Forest, Cathedral, Canyon

Rules:

• Create a custom 2v2 game with the map as indicated below.

• No perks, no gear allowed. All classes allowed.

• Two players assigned to a team must be playing at all times, no bots or substitutions.

• You may stream your own game, please use "PG" or "Panda Global" in the title if you wish to do so.

NOTE players may have their games streamed. Players involved in a match being broadcast must join a discord server (that will be provided by admins) and consult with admins on how to proceed.
