Which team/s impressed and disappointed you the most in Masters Shanghai?

With Masters heading into the Final 4. Which team/s impressed you and which team/s disappointed you?

For me, FPX and FUT are the teams that impressed me. FPX really gave the fight against FUT, GenG and TH, plus I'm impressed with their triple Controller lineup with Clove. Didn't expect FUT to have a deep Playoff run but it's nice seeing them in top form.

As for the teams that disappointed me, it was Leviatán, Fnatic and EDG. I really thought Leviatán would make it, but they really just relied on hero plays from Aspas and Mazino, EDG looked like they took their Playoff spot for granted, and as for Fnatic, I can under losing to GenG, but they shouldn't have lost to FUT.

Is carpe now the second best player who has lots of second place finishes but never wins

With proper coming second yet again in another final, he joins the conservation alongside carpe as a player who performs well and then loses in the final a lot.

Also, he’s arguably better than carpe.

So does that mean carpe takes the second place for being the best player that comes second a lot?

All this to say, carpe is second yet again

Today's Patch Notes

So starting any round (not game) with unbalanced teams still immediately ends the game. How on earth is this not getting addressed in the very next patch after it was introduced?

What if coaches could talk during the match?

Which teams do you guys think would benefit from having the coach talk mid-game or adversely, which teams would suffer with too many cooks in the kitchen. I personally think if alecks could comm during a map Paper Rex would hit a different level as he'd be able to calm them down and guide them through midrounding

How should runaway retool next stage?

How should runaway retool next stage?

Runaway was a team that had a lot of expectations heading into OWCS stage 1, but for whatever reason it didn't work out. In pre season power rankings they were definitely below Falcons, WAC, but were expected to compete with Genesis who had a lot of hype, FTG, and Yeti yet underperformed to a massive degree and didn't even make the tournament losing to an underwhelming Genesis team, and Poker face. Now they have dropped Vigilante, Mag, Prophet, and currently only have Zest, and Leejaegon so what should they do to become a upper tier team next stage?

Keep the london format?

Keep the london format?

Ngl, it felt a little embarrassing to watch the london major on stream. The venue was legit just a gym and a hotel conference room (from what we saw) and, compared to previous events it definitely made me think "halo is dead"

But seeing the pros positive comments on the crowd/energy and some photos/vids from the event (Darth bubu), it seems like this layout recapture an energy that is hard to do on a main stage typical to other esports

Halo can't be CS2 or valorant and sell out stadiums, but they could lean into what london brought to the table with this type of layout. Thoughts?
