Just listening to the episode tonight and heard Tony mention all the execs there. Moving from YouTube would be such a bad move. The show needs to stay on YouTube. Period. Sorry, I just felt like I had to say something about that.

Since the beginning of our relationship, I have been frustrated by my husband frequently only responding to, or “seeing” the last text I send him. For example, if I were to text him “hey can you check the front door is locked?” Then follow it with a text that says “how does pasta for dinner sound?” He would respond to the pasta text and ignore the door text. I end up having to double check or send multiple texts frequently.
When I bring it up he says I can only expect him to see the last text. Or I can only expect him to read what shows up on the Lock Screen.
We have a baby now and are both tired grumpy and this has gone from making me annoyed to feeling rage and he will snap at me to get off is ass. I have told him it’s standard to read UP until his last response. I asked my sister what she does and she agreed with me and seemed to think it was a no-brainer.
Who is correct? My husband or me?
ETA: he works from home. I am a SAHM since the baby. He frequently has time to scroll x or Facebook or whatever. We text a lot because it’s less disruptive and frankly easier. Especially if the baby is asleep.
ETA 2: we both are string texters. I’m not bombarding him with 10 at a time. Maybe like 4-5 1 liners max. He does same. Some days there’s only like one text sent total. We text in the house when we’re on different floors or the baby is sleeping on me or something.
FINAL EDIT: my husband admits he’s wrong and has no desire to read any more responses. I think he got the message after the first 50. 😂 wow this blew up. He said he just said that cause he was pissy in the moment. Probably backpedaling but I’ll accept it.

I'm sorry, but the segment about the security guard from Cannes was just incredibly badly researched and I am so disappointed that H3 would spread that terrible "race" narrative while it is not true.
The guard lady was clearly being excessive... but with that said:

Only a select group of stars and people who paid a LOT of money are allowed to take photos on the stairs. You are right, Cannes it a prestigious festival, that is why it extremely bad form to break the red carpet rules. All of these celebrities knew that they can't take a photo because they are either not a star of this year's festival or they did not pay enough money, but they wanted to sneak in a photo on the iconic red Cannes stairs and pretend they are "the shit". Well, the guards did their job, it is not only to keep people moving, but it is literally their job to block the shot. That is why they are using hands to cover the celebs, so they can't take a good photo. That is the whole point! Everyone on the crew saying "just let them take a photo" is showing they did no research about this at all. Just went with viral headlines.

There are video examples of male guards also doing it. The lady went viral because she was clearly much more handsy than anyone else, but also just got much more "talk back" from the celebs than anyone else. All clips I saw with other guards doing it (to plenty of white people btw) it just didn't get much push back, they just kept going, and that is why only that one got viral.

The race thing is just ridiculous and it is a false narrative that Kelly Rowland started to save face. You have a sample size o 4 and all of them are different races, including white and you jump on the POC discrimination train? Well, if you look at it, the white lady was treated the worst, so was it racist against white people? I am so disappointed in this coverage, especially Olivia being so sucked into the viral narrative. Bunch of Americans not understanding Cannes etiquette and making it about race it unbelievable.
I totally understand that even with all these facts you can still have your own opinion, but the fact that it was not even explained on the show is very disappointing and just going with clickbait headlines instead of doing any investigation of your own. I know Ethan never knows anything, but whoever did research on this should be ashamed.

I do not want this to lead to discourse or anything, but I just found that interesting. So many drama channels claiming all these factors were timed perfectly for him to leave and it was all a big scheme, but it really just came down to the end of a contract he decided to renew with a first look clause rather than stay under direct employment .

Ethan needs to go on other people's shows. That's it. Yeah i know it's obvious but this is literally the only and best solution that will fix the issue. I love Ethan but I do wish he were a little more motivated in helping the channel grow. Doesn't matter which show he goes on as long as he's introducing himself to new audiences. He has a lot of connections in the comedy world he should start making the rounds.
