Warhammer 40k is a franchise created by Games Workshop, detailing the far future and the grim darkness it holds. The main attraction of 40k is the miniatures, but there are also many video games, board games, books, ect. that are all connected in the 40k universe. This subreddit is for anything and everything related to Warhammer 40k.
My girlfriend isn't a Warhammer fan, she normally just silently nods along to me rambling about something 40k related or the occasional scolding I get for leaving snipped off plastic sprew on the ground that she steps bare foot on.
Today she came home early from work, a lot earlier so something must have been wrong and when I asked what the problem was, she just looked me straight in the eyes with a dead pan face and uttered "Blood... for the blood god"
I instantly knew what she meant, she's not had a period for a long time due to things like the pill, coil and injections - she recently came off them. So for her to come home early even when prepared for it, it must have been particularly heavy.
I just smiled and surprised her with loudly replying "skull for the skull throne!". It was enough to put a smile on her face atleast before she sat down and I got the Ben & Jerry's from the freezer.
I didn't know what to flair this post as or even if this type of post is allowed here, I just wanted go share a Warhammer 40k related moment.
Thank you for listening.
