Diy Electronics
A subreddit for practical questions about component-level electronic circuits: design, repair, component buying, test gear and tools.
We are currently private in protest of Reddit's poor management and decisions related to third party platforms and content management.
I feel that this is:
-
Aganist the rules
-
Unfair to the current members as they will have to teach so many new members while still pulling their weight
-
Going to cause a divide amongst members and teams which was already an issue last season
-
Complicate everything and cause more workload
All because parents called in complaining how their kid couldn't make it into a robotics team.
Would appreciate your thoughts and insight, the principle is adamantly fixed on this even after our execs had a meeting with him.

I’m just in the thinking about this stage but I was thinking I’d like a hybrid system that would allow import from the grid but not export it since my area doesn’t have worthwhile net metering. Most of the zero export inverters I’ve seen say they allow up to 100 W or so occasional export to the grid. Could that amount be dangerous to any linemen downstream?

This subreddit has been taken private from June12 in support of the strike on reddit to protest the upcoming changes to the pricing structure for the reddit API and related rule changes. ------- You probably want all your electronics to run on the 18650 lithium-ion cell. You just don't know it yet.
