    Budget airline Bonza would have benefited from faster action to reform access to slots at Sydney Airport, as the competition watchdog warns regional travellers risk being left behind by the entrenched duopoly of Qantas and Virgin Australia.

    After handing down the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s second quarterly monitoring report for the domestic aviation market, commissioner Anna Brakey said access to slots remains a huge obstacle for new airlines.
