I love my paperwhite.
But I HATE how it automatically ejects me at the end of a book and sends me to the store.
I LIKE the content at the end is the book. I want to see the epilogue, the message from the author, the previews of other stories, the appendix…All this extra stuff is like saying goodbye at the end of a great party before heading home.
But kindle YOINKS me out at the last page and sends me to the store. It’s SO frustrating! I immediately return to the book, but it’s just so aggravating.
PLEASE tell me there’s some setting I haven’t found yet to KILL the autoeject and let me stay in the book?
Does anyone else find this annoying?
(On a related note, I wish kindle would let me start at the START of a book, rather than skipping the front matter )

To anyone from SONOS corp.
Trying to play music and seeing an advertisement for your new product is terrible.
Not being able to play music and still seeing an advertisement for your product is super salty.
Fix this please. Be better.
Airplay FTW.
A place to discuss the Meta/Oculus Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest Pro
I've been checking Costco weekly for a price drop on the Meta Quest 3 bundle since I saw an Astrix on the price of the display. Today is the day to make the purchase you've been waiting for, these will clear out fast, this news will spread fast!! I buy everything on sale, so I picked this up today. The search is over, time to play with mixed reality.
The Costco Bundle includes the Meta Quest 3 128gb Mixed Reality headset, $25 credit for games, Asgard's Wrath 2, the Elite strap and a hard case.

I realize it's not a disc release but I wasn't expecting this so soon. It's in other countries on Netflix as well. Thoughts?

Reddit’s little corner for iPhone lovers (and some people who just mildly enjoy it…)
What tones do you set as soon as you get your phone? Reflection is far too subtle and quiet. If I don’t have my phone with me and someone calls, I can never hear it.

I was brought up on Queen, pink floyd, prog rock etc, got into metal as an angsty teen and eventually accepted that there’s no such thing as a guilty pleasure so I have a decent collection of pop in my daily rotation too, just wondered what everyone’s go to tracks are for testing out new equipment. Always an in interesting discussion

The amount of times I’ve dropped my caseless iphone 14 onto hardwood, concrete, tile, and had it come up undamaged is insane. I’m talking like 3x a week. Just today my pants pocket became all twisted and slingshot whipped that shit into the corner of a table onto the screen. I expected it to be shattered .
Their gorilla glass has really come a long way. The only damage over the past year has been to the color on some of the corners of the metal.
