Which games are the best for going "off script" when you just want to turn on a game and explore and do nothing else? Which games are the best for going "off script" when you just want to turn on a game and explore and do nothing else?
Game Discussion

I simply want to tour the open worlds in games, rather than complete missions or follow the game scripts. Are there specific games that make this more possible than others?

For example, I hear people say they just ride their horse around for hours exploring the scenery in RDR2, and just turn on the radio and drive through neighborhoods in GTA V.

This is probably a silly question, but do you have to reach certain points/levels in games to make this possible, or can you do your own thing from the start? I'm looking for suggestions that offer you the most freedom to explore, without pressuring you to get back to the story. Any input on any games would be appreciated!
