it's pretty obvious from how tiff seemed in control of the jury from the start to being the timer and deciding when to cut people off that she had incredible influence over the jury. given that, who else thinks kenzie's win was largely due to tiff's campaigning for her hard at ponderosa?

And it was proven true in S46. Charlie and Kenzie both made certain people feel really good. Kenzie made more of this jury feel special than Charlie did, so they wanted to reward her. Charlie unknowingly attached himself very early to someone with a fragile ego - she’s prone to feeling bruised and taking benign occurrences as attacks on the self. It’s like a narcissistic manager suppressing promotions for promising employees because they feel threatened and don’t want to be upstaged. It’s just how some people are, and it happens all the time.
Lots of fans want Survivor to be a game that rewards capital S Strategy. That’s what I find myself wanting as a viewer since 2000. I was rooting for Aubry, Cassidy, Charlie, and more - they controlled the game, so they should win it, right? But as is most often true in life, Survivor mostly rewards connections. Charlie was awesome at making connections, but Kenzie had a few more, and one of Charlie’s was with a fragile and defensive person.

I’m tired of people using this as some sort of resume boost, when in actuality it is a very superficial aspect of the game and creates more inconsistencies than it solves. Take final tribal in 46 for example-Kenzie directly received credit and even a vote for winning firemaking even though she not only took egregiously long to complete it, she was up against someone who was practically crippled (no shade to Kenzie, great player and winner). This act received more credit from the jurors than what I consider to be much more reflective of good gameplay, which is Charlie’s social graces and close ally ship which led to the winner of final immunity to take him to the final three. The firemaking has become an artificial source of resume building nonsense that imo completely disrupts the final portion of he game. I realize that there is an issue of the big threat going out at 4 and this gives them a shot at the win, but there just has to be a better way to do it or else they should at least just revert back to a final four vote.

Kristen running her mouth when she’s drunk has run its course and I do not care about her Colorado boyfriend baby storyline. It’s a new relationship in a long line of failed ones and just way too hard to get invested in their baby storyline.
Jesse and Michelle being so matter of fact as to the state of their marriage is refreshing and interesting to follow especially juxtaposed with Jax and a Brittany who try to act like they’re going though a rough patch but truly love each other when it’s clear as day that they have been putting on a front for years.
