Not sure if this is the 50s or 60s, but it sure looks like it could be going to the danger zone.

How wrong we were.

Edit: okay, clearly this joke needs to be made for a lot of the comments on this thread -- so I'm just going to post an exhibit below

" Oh yeah, gwb was awful, but I never thought we would get a president that it would make him look like a f****** genius"

" Oh yeah, Biden/trump ( i.e The candidate they were clearly not referring to based off context but failed to specifically mention) is a total dumbass"

The side of our generation that truly sucks.
r/GenX

Generation X was born, by broadest definition, between 1961 and 1981, the greatest anti-child cycle in modern history. Nevertheless, we grew up to become the world's most devoted parents: the "workhorse of America." This sub welcomes links, photos, graphics, memoirs, commentaries, stories, etc., for and about Gen-Xers, the 13th Generation of Americans. GenX also translates to many other parts of the world.

The side of our generation that truly sucks.

I’m just n the hospital with my mother. Been in A&E all day with her. She was in a nursing home to recover from a hip operation and an infection.

She had started to get forgetful but, within the last month it’s become full blown dementia. She’s after falling again and if anything is broken there’s a good chance the infection could kill her.

I’ve buried my younger brother my sister and my father. Just her and me now and it fucking sucks.

The word "yap/yapping" is ruining mindsets..

Lately I have noticed that this word has become an excuse for people to not listen to others during conversations, it very quickly becomes a self-centeredness rabbit hole. I’m not gonna lie I’ve used it myself but that’s why I did some introspection and look also at the people using it. People want to an echo chamber for their opinion and not have to listen to others, I’m sure this word being used on a regular basis to shut down others is a narcissistic trait. "What is blud yapping about" even if you’re talking about someone else, it often sounds condescending, now of course some people be yapping fr but I think we should be mindful at least on how we use it because you start becoming toxic unawares. It kinda sucks to say but a lot of streamers are kind of causing this type of behavior in the youth. That’s my take on this [Yap session over] : )
