He deleted the tweet...

... and replaced it with the same thing but with the hashtag in all caps this time

Source

[–][LAC] Baron DavisKennySmithsKnees 3460 points3461 points  (86 children)

The hashtag is the cherry on top lmao

[–]CIark 1201 points1202 points  (44 children)

Imagine if Dame or Harden tweeted this lmao

[–]Lakers [LAL] Michael CooperRickySuela 443 points444 points  (41 children)

Isn't he going to get fined for having done this? I thought it was against some rule for players to just flat out state this, which is why instead it's always rumored or "reported" or whatever.

[–]RollGata 425 points426 points  (26 children)

He can get fined $150k yeah lol

[–]WarriorsAmusingAnecdote 437 points438 points  (19 children)

He's going to need that money, too because dude is about to be out the league in a minute.

[–]BullsPJCR1916 181 points182 points  (14 children)

And because whatever drugs he’s taking are expensive and he’s taking heaps of them too

[–]Bullstopkingdededemain 80 points81 points  (12 children)

I think dude is also manic.

I’ve seen clear signs of mania from him. Cause I’ve also experienced mania. He’s probably on drugs and having mental health issues

Obviously awful combo

[–]Trail Blazerstorrinage 23 points24 points  (5 children)

Yeah thats deff possible given his recent behavior, I’ve witnessed about 4-5 people go manic over the years and this lines up

[–]Nuggetsmares8 36 points37 points  (2 children)

I really don't get who is this guy? A rookie that didn't play at all yet requesting a trade ? Yeee...hes done in NBA lol better learn Chinese

[–]NBAtacomonday12 152 points153 points  (5 children)

I understand max guys not caring about that but this is a 19th overall pick who started zero games last season and averaged 3-3-0 when he saw the court. He's just gonna get bounced from the league.

[–]DragonDLuffy 92 points93 points  (3 children)

he wiill be fine dude, didn't you read him saying goatlife. Come on man.

[–]MavericksVirtual_Presence_425 25 points26 points  (2 children)

In all caps too

[–]HeatDucksaucenem 23 points24 points  (0 children)

He didn’t say it, he DECLARED it.

[–]HornetsWafflesTheWookiee 96 points97 points  (12 children)

I’m not sure it’ll happen, he’s very obviously going through some mental health issues, not sure the league will want to hammer down on this situation

[–]Top-Consequence-911 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Even if they do, the union will dispute it, likely successfully. Dude is going through something.

[–]janitorial_fluids 150 points151 points  (1 child)

Well I’m pretty sure this is also a direct violation of the CBA since players are not allowed to publicly announce trade requests lmao. Adam silver gonna nuke this dude’s twitter ?

[–]LakersOldHeadReader 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Its a fine. They will fine him and move onm

[–][LAL] Sasha Vujacicnysraved 397 points398 points  (12 children)

Apparently deleted the tweet just to send it out again, this time with the hashtag in all caps. Truly some GOAT shit

[–]Timberwolvestomdawg0022 233 points234 points  (10 children)

Those 3.4 PPG and 2.7 RPG really needed the CAPS HASHTAG to back up the talk on the court.

[–]NegativesPositives 86 points87 points  (7 children)

People talk about Jordan and Bron all the time but they never put up numbers like those in their lives!

[–][CLE] Daniel GibsonAKiiidNamed_Codiii 49 points50 points  (6 children)

Jordan at 60 would still put up better stats

[–]Lakerstoofine 55 points56 points  (5 children)

Better numbers? Sure. Better efficiency? Probably. Better understanding of the game? Most definitely. But what about?

[–]WarriorsKdog122025 10 points11 points  (4 children)

Drugs taken per point? Kai’s got MJ there.

[–]NBAMintastic 9 points10 points  (2 children)

MJ would take drugs everyday through an IV to quickly build up his tolerance just to beat him.

[–]Intelligent_Pain_174 7 points8 points  (1 child)

But what about his "intangibles".

[–]PistonsReformedRedditThug 43 points44 points  (1 child)

This is straight out of a 2k mycareer storyline lmao

[–]76ersAddisonsContracture 92 points93 points  (22 children)

You think he actually believes he could be the GOAT?

[–]RocketsAutographedSnorkel 180 points181 points  (3 children)

I think that's a nod to his future career in goat farming after the Hornets cut him next week

[–]trafikant 28 points29 points  (2 children)

TiboPino

[–]The-Hand-of-Midas 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Is this actually a Thibaut Pinot reference on an NBA subreddit?

I think all 3 of us that understand have seen it now!

[–][GSW] Adonal FoyleHarryLundt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I know Thibaut Pinot but I don't know who the fuck Kai Jones is.

[–]Exillia89 37 points38 points  (1 child)

He has scored 506 points combined in his 2 years in college and 2 years in the NBA. Of course he does.

[–]saints21 25 points26 points  (0 children)

That's at least double what I've scored to be fair.

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 37 points38 points  (11 children)

I say this as someone who wants him off my team. He genuinely has unreal talent. If he is on the court you can't help but watch him. But he just has zero idea what he is actually good at.

https://x.com/iohandles/status/1711464959731732548?s=46&t=BO_xtM49wBcvCyMKbiT0MQ. This sums it up

[–]LaMeloxMilesxScoot 19 points20 points  (6 children)

Loll, what talent does he actually have? The guy is a pure idot both with and without the ball in his hands

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 45 points46 points  (5 children)

I mean his athleticism is unreal. If he actually committed to being a role player he could be extremely good. I agree with you for the most part that he is a lost cause but watching him move around in person is shocking.

[–]HornetsSaulPepper 7 points8 points  (1 child)

He should focus on other sports, like track and field, or long jumping. Basketball is a team oriented, decision making game, and Kai needs more than what he has to stay on the court, whether sportsmanship or BBIQ

[–][SAC] Chris Webberwoosh_yourecool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Derrick Jones Jr is this guy’s ceiling

[–]Coolkiddddddddd 18 points19 points  (2 children)

Bro this guy has no basketball talent he’s just very athletic that’s it. He doesn’t know how to play basketball

[–][HOU] Trevor Arizatonypearcern 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think he's saying the Hornets organization smells like a buck rag

[–]megatrope 14 points15 points  (0 children)

guys, you’ve all misunderstood his tweet!

He meant that he wants to tend goats on a farm (like how Jokic loves horses). That’s his ideal life!

[–]HornetsDoubleAmigo[🍰] 298 points299 points  (10 children)

I just want it to stop

[–]HornetstraiNwreCk420z 54 points55 points  (5 children)

But why

[–]Charlotte Bobcatsits_moonface 144 points145 points  (3 children)

Because he’s manic and self destructing and after he comes down he’ll realize that his dreams have been destroyed by a mental illness he may have been unaware of previously. It’s possible the mania was in fact drug induced but it’s clear the effects have gone beyond a temporary high. It’s also possible he was completely sober, you don’t know the situation. The lack of empathy i see for the guy is appalling.

[–]Clippersduplicatesnowflake 25 points26 points  (2 children)

I’ve seen what you’re referencing first hand with my own brother. The drug use sets off a psychotic break or unlocks the schizophrenia. They keep using to maintain the manic highs or to self medicate but their deluded thinking creates an alternate rationalization. There’s no getting better until they sober up but it’s very hard to get there without hitting rock bottom.

[–]HornetsDoubleAmigo[🍰] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I want off this teal colored ride

[–]WarriorsDaconvix 2429 points2430 points  (105 children)

They gotta test the water in Charlotte or something man ?

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 620 points621 points  (24 children)

I mean what happened here is that the centers that were drafted the year before and after him are both better than him. Also im pretty sure Nnaji who we drafted this year is better than him too.

[–]HeatLong_Chance3583 359 points360 points  (20 children)

Are you saying you drafted four centers in three years?

Edit: Hornets traded for Kai Jones after the Knicks picked him. Nnaji isn’t listed on bballref but he was the last pick in this years second round.

BUT their 2021 draft night was Kai Jones and James Bouknight. Between taking Bouknight and Jones these players went off the board:

Primo

Duarte

Moody

Kispert

Senguen

Trey Murphy

Tre Mann

So they effectively took the 11th and 19th pick and got 2 of the 3 worst picks taking over those 9 picks. Thank god they didn’t take Primo

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 177 points178 points  (12 children)

Its actually 5 in 4 years lol. Only two in the first round though. In 2020 we drafted Vernon Carey JR and Nick Richards, 2021 we drafted Kai Jones and JT Thor (probably a PF), 2022 we drafted Mark Williams (Easily the best of the group who was really good to end the year) and 2023 we draftd James Nnaji.

Its been a big position of need for us but you cant argue we havent mismanaged it. We have basically had zero rim protection for a decade. Inshallah Mark Williams will fix everything.

[–]HeatLong_Chance3583 57 points58 points  (4 children)

Yeah this is an amazing draft history to look at. I can’t believe you guys drafted Duren as well. Gonna be interesting to see who ends up being better. Duren has gotten more hype so far but Williams could definitely end up being the better player.

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 31 points32 points  (1 child)

Williams had his best game against y'all last year. He is just fucking huge and plays like it.

[–]HornetsSammyd1108 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Duren could easily end up being the better player, but Williams is the better player currently. I feel like that was the consensus coming out of the draft too.

Williams doesn’t have the ceiling Duren does, but he was a beast once he got to take over the starting role. He’s amazing at what we need him for too, so I’m okay with keeping Williams over Duren.

[–]Trail BlazersHotBoyTeece 59 points60 points  (0 children)

primo would’ve gone full louis ck if he got drafted to charlotte

[–]SupersonicsKSchmuckley 27 points28 points  (2 children)

Nnaji was the 1st pick in the 2nd round. 31 overall. He’s probably not listed because he was stashed, so he could have some nice upside.

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 12 points13 points  (1 child)

The dude is built like a fucking fridge

[–]SupersonicsKSchmuckley 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m a fan of him as a prospect, and at the 31st pick if he turns into a great defender that to me is an amazing pick.

[–]Csakstar 22 points23 points  (1 child)

You mean to tell me that's not a recipe for success?

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean most of them were second rounders and Kai was thought of as a PF by the staff that drafted him.

[–][LAL] Smush ParkerShasty-McNasty 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this is correct. I saw a tweet that said he was the goat.

[–]CelticsDazzling-Reason-5140 108 points109 points  (35 children)

the hornets and the panthers, the finest the sports have the offer

[–]HornetsScrypto 191 points192 points  (23 children)

Cam and Kemba were really holding this poverty sports city on their backs for far too long. Once they left its just been a never ending pile of dog shit

[–]CelticsDazzling-Reason-5140 58 points59 points  (6 children)

And curiously, both ended up in Boston somehow

[–]Lakersdirtykirty3 69 points70 points  (5 children)

And both flamed out of Boston too

[–]CelticsDazzling-Reason-5140 77 points78 points  (3 children)

given the current state of the pats offense and Cam having his best WR as Damiere Byrd, I think we owe him an apology

[–]HornetsSammyd1108 14 points15 points  (0 children)

He looked pretty damn good for the Pats before he got Covid too.

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 71 points72 points  (1 child)

Lamelo in his second year led us to a better record than every kemba year but 2016 lol.

[–]HawksAtl-Fan_FTS 21 points22 points  (2 children)

And Kuechly. One of my favorite defensive players to watch of all time

[–]HornetsNIN10DOXD 10 points11 points  (3 children)

The Panthers had already made a Super Bowl before Cam Newton though. The Hornets just suck, but the Panthers can be good at times.

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think charlotte fans get fooled into thinking this because of the two super bowls but we are gonna have seven winning seasons in thirty years. Not super inspiring.

[–]ClippersZoratth 7 points8 points  (5 children)

I’m assuming people in Charlotte that like hockey root for the Hurricanes even though they play in Raleigh? Because they’ve been pretty good.

[–]HornetsBigdeacenergy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Thank god we have the Carolina Hurricanes

[–]RocketsAutographedSnorkel 6 points7 points  (8 children)

Every single Texans fan owes Lovie Smith an apology. Tank for Bryce Young indeed. CJ Stroud is the best rookie QB by far

[–]junkit33 30 points31 points  (18 children)

Can’t even blame this one on Jordan.

[–]Tampa Bay RaptorsRaptors2017champs 24 points25 points  (16 children)

He drafted him?

[–]HornetsScrypto 81 points82 points  (15 children)

We drafted Kai and Bouk in the top 20 of the same draft. That is honestly just as bad as the Deng/Mozgov summer as far as Mitch blunders are concerned

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 12 points13 points  (14 children)

I mean there isnt really anyone picked behind them that makes it that horrible. Sure trading up hurts but if we lose our first rounder this year it means we made the playoffs, and if we make the playoffs i wont give a shit.

[–]Exillia89 11 points12 points  (0 children)

People freak out about first round picks because it's easy to point at the good players in it afterwards, and it feels like the only way to get yourself out of the death spiral but most players end up sucking or being mid.

[–]Charlotte BobcatsBetweenTheBuzzAndMe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Murphy and Sengun are the only two I'd be upset about missing.

Bouk was a bad pick all along, even if you believed in the talent, since we punted Monk and a lottery pick to take him. I'll never fault a team for using pick #19 on an insanely big and athletic player like Kai no matter how raw. Kai is just an idiot and it didn't work out.

[–]A_Line_A_Day 21 points22 points  (10 children)

Ja and Zion are also from Carolina. Definitely some lead in the water.

[–][LAL] Steve Blakeloadedryder 25 points26 points  (9 children)

Ja and Zion are from South Carolina, which is drastically different from North Carolina tbf.

[–]Tampa Bay RaptorsRaptors2017champs 45 points46 points  (10 children)

[–]WizardsGregEgg4President 29 points30 points  (3 children)

[–]Tampa Bay RaptorsRaptors2017champs 32 points33 points  (2 children)

Thanks for proving my point

[–]AccomplishedFront563 1554 points1555 points  (36 children)

Mr Jones is gonna be working a normal job soon wondering what happened to his big chance

[–]ClippersChaosAndCreation 392 points393 points  (11 children)

I wanna be Bob Dylan.

Mr. Jones wishes he was someone just a little more funky.

[–]HawksAtl-Fan_FTS 107 points108 points  (2 children)

Grey is Kais favorite color, makes him feel symbolic. Spurs confirmed

[–]Celticsfffate 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Kai looks into the future. Standing in a spotlight makes him lonely

[–]calartnick 24 points25 points  (2 children)

Was not expecting a counting crows reference on r/nba today

[–]ClippersChaosAndCreation 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, me neither

[–]Supersonicswhofusesthemusic 17 points18 points  (0 children)

he wishes he was someone a little more funky. Mr Jones Wishes.

[–]NuggetsBrewtusMaximus1 28 points29 points  (0 children)

When everybody loves you, oh son....you're just about as funky as you can be

[–]Clipperslm2lm 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Something is happening here and you don’t know what it is…do you, mr jones ?

[–]jamarcusaristotle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We all wanna be big stars, But we don't know why, And we don't know how

[–]JazzChaseBank5 159 points160 points  (9 children)

It's sad to see someone throwing away their future like this. 99.9% of people would give anything to be making millions playing a sport.

[–]PsychedelicWalton 236 points237 points  (8 children)

I dont think this is a normal case of an athlete throwing away his future by just being stupid. He seems to have some sort of mental illness manifesting itself in a very public way

The way he’s acting/tweeting and the way the team is responding is eerily similar to Chandler Jones in the NFL with the Raiders, who recently had to be involuntarily hospitalized because of it

[–]TimberwolvesSharcbait 56 points57 points  (1 child)

Everson Griffen also randomly went off the rails one day and it came out he was bi-polar.

[–]PsychedelicWalton 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yeah i remember that, and once he got proper counseling and/or medication he was basically back to his old self and his career went on

It’s obviously impossible for us to know for sure from the outside, but I really think Kai Jones just needs help right now more than anything

[–]76ersEltneg 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah his last month or so really has seemed like someone dealing with mental health issues, hope he's got good people around him

[–]Tampa Bay RaptorsRaptors2017champs 45 points46 points  (1 child)

He's gonna be on the streets at this pace.

[–]Rockets__john_cena__ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He absolutely couldn’t hold down a regular job.

[–]LakersRelatively_Cool 35 points36 points  (4 children)

He’s not gonna be working a normal job because he’ll be in a mental institution. He’s not gonna be wondering what happened because he’s gonna be working on regaining his sanity (or he won’t be).

[–]Trail BlazersDrYoda 33 points34 points  (3 children)

Lol, they don't really just stick people in mental institutions for anything other than very severe cases these days my dude

[–]Duck8Quack 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly, society decided having mentally ill people in special inpatient facilities was cruel. So now we put them in prisons. And once they get out they live on the streets. Its always so comforting to know I live in such a compassionate society.

[–]jcwkings 765 points766 points  (21 children)

Is he the worst player to ever publicly request a trade?

[–]Rocketsinshamblesx 309 points310 points  (6 children)

Yes

[–]RocketsDust2chicken[🍰] 158 points159 points  (4 children)

Marquese Chriss requested a trade from us once, I think thats up there for competition

[–]No-Economics4128 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Who?

[–]SunsDrugsRBadMan 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You put some respect on the Phoenix Suns legend’s name!

[–][NBA] Alperen Şengüneveryoneneedsaherro 66 points67 points  (0 children)

A few of these guys have Kai beat I think but the video remains ambiguous about some of these guys actually demanding a trade despite the title

[–]HornetsSammyd1108 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Gotta be, because he’s barely even seen an actual NBA court and this is with us being absolutely decimated by injuries last year.

[–]Spurskrsaxor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its like you and I requested a trade. No one gives a shit. It will be forgotten. He wont get playing time and will be out of the league in a year or two.

[–]CelticsDafatveteran 636 points637 points  (5 children)

This fucking guy lmao

[–]Lakersrjaysenior 253 points254 points  (1 child)

Non goats wouldn’t understand

[–]WarriorsWitty-C 36 points37 points  (1 child)

I seriously hope he's just trolling, cause this level of delusion is astounding.

[–]KingAdo94 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The sad part is it seems genuine. He’s still trying to convince the world that his IG live antics weren’t Molly themed jam sessions rather than accepting reality and getting help.

[–][MIA] Jason WilliamsParalta 966 points967 points  (38 children)

This dude is fucked. No chance im taking a dice roll on this guy after seeing him tweaking on live.

[–]BucksNeuroxex 251 points252 points  (6 children)

I was gonna say Detroit but he wasn't actually a lottery pick so Troy Weaver won't even be able to satisfy his dark urge by trading for former top pick big men in distressed situations, doesn't look good for Kai Jones

[–]CelticsCreatiScope 82 points83 points  (3 children)

And he's not a white big so you know the Hornets won't- ah shit, we're back where we started.

[–]WarriorsKdog122025 16 points17 points  (2 children)

And he’s not injury prone so the Celtics don’t want him.

Too tall for the Warriors.

[–]NuggetsSyndana23 31 points32 points  (0 children)

To be fair he had that one video dancing to MJ’s Billie Jean that’s hilarious. If a coach can convince him to bring that energy celebrating on the bench, he’d be good addition off that alone

Sort of like when the Nets had those bench celebrations ?

[–]Bulls91-92-93--96-97-98 138 points139 points  (15 children)

If he has an ounce of talent, he’ll land somewhere. We have women beaters, repeat dick whippers, overtly racist players getting multiple opportunities.

[–]MagicLiquid_Clown 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Yeah but do they show up to practice lol

[–]Raptors-xXxMangoxXx- 70 points71 points  (4 children)

Those POS players also are typically good players. Kai Jones is just bad with too much of an ego.

[–]Wizardshappyflappypancakes 22 points23 points  (5 children)

Yeah but those are transgressions against women and minorities. The league doesn't care about that.

[–]BucksQuestionEntirety 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The league cares about certain minorities. They suspended Meyers Leonard for a season or two for saying a jewish slur on twitch. I would assume you would get perma banned if a player said a slur against black people, since that's a huge portion of their players and fans. They don't give the slightest shit about other minorities though.

[–][NBA] Alperen Şengüneveryoneneedsaherro 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I would have agreed with you but after seeing the Clippers take a chance on Primo NBA teams will always take a chance on young players with potential

Remember if Hannibal Lecter could run a 4.3 we’d say he has an eating disorder

[–]WarriorsJohnpecan 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Ironically, the only team that I could see taking a chance on a dude like this is.... The Hornets.

[–]LivinAFantasy 461 points462 points  (13 children)

Offseason goat for sure

[–]BullsKneelBeforeCube 200 points201 points  (1 child)

Offseason MIP by far. Too bad it was his last, he'd be on a offseason HOF track otherwise.

[–]shanduin 30 points31 points  (0 children)

A little off topic, but I have to say after Dame's absolute beastly performance this off-season, he may be first ballot off-season HOF. An unforgettable effort by one of the greats.

[–]Mavericks43loko 104 points105 points  (7 children)

Clearly Moriah Mills

[–]DeadCellsTop5 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Man, that chick is fucking GROSS too. How is that the best Zion could do?

[–]Raptorsejabno 89 points90 points  (3 children)

[–]Netsj_cruise 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I love when some random off-season drama happens right before the season begins. Like Bobby Portis punching Mirotic

[–]LakersTopLeaf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Moriah Mills the real off season GOAT

[–]Hornetsnihilistweasel 327 points328 points  (3 children)

End of an error

[–]76ersRealPrinceJay 318 points319 points  (19 children)

I’m legitimately concerned about this guy and worry that something really bad could happen without intervention

[–]rticcoolerfan 259 points260 points  (2 children)

He's a 7ft nba player doing tiktok dances in Panera while not showing up to work. It's already really bad lol

[–]Sufficient_Boss_6782 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s tough. I have sympathy for the human , not the employee. So, very tempting to be like, “bad??? Pay me to dick dock at subway.”

[–][IND] Victor OladipoBoogerSugarSovereign 127 points128 points  (11 children)

Yeah I think it's weird that everyone is just going "lol" this is clearly extremely odd behavior. I don't know if he is having a mental health episode or it's drug-related but it seems pretty clear this isn't the Kai fans have known over the years and something big is off. Hope he's okay after all of this NBA or no

[–]DongleThaDon 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this is the internet and the wellbeing of a young man clearly in some level of distress will be mocked endlessly until he either gets help or something tragic happens.

[–]ThunderUGLEHBWE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm follow him on tik tok it's hell in his comments. Majority encouraging him then there's a handful of people who actually know him trying to make sure he's okay. He's acting really manic and dancing and sweating

[–][SAS] Tim DuncanDsarg_92 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Jokes aside, I hope he seeks professional help. I really do.

[–][POR] Rudy Fernandezspittafan 95 points96 points  (7 children)

[–]LakerswhowasonCRACK2 99 points100 points  (5 children)

You would trade for a two year old Kai Jones?

[–]KnickedUp 67 points68 points  (2 children)

Potential bruh

[–]X-RayManiac 22 points23 points  (1 child)

UNLIMITED upside for that 2 year old

[–][NBA] Alperen Şengüneveryoneneedsaherro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A two years old Kai Jones for the rights to Greg Oden?

[–]AcxdBxmb 20 points21 points  (1 child)

Requesting a trade when nobody wants you is some true unh8nged shit.

[–]Doobie_Howitzer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Furkan Korkmaz special (his ass has done it twice, and yes, it was even funnier the second time)

[–]Knickscesarjulius 39 points40 points  (0 children)

how to make bouknight seem like a decent pick…

[–]Rocketschode0311 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Rocket fan here. Well trade one KPJ for a Kai Jones. Ime will shut the kid up. You guys can waive KPJ.

[–]NetsKingofthisShit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hornets can use a lockerroom guy like KPJ to replace Jones' impact, seems like a good trade to me.

[–]RaptorsArrayMichael7 142 points143 points  (14 children)

I feel so bad he’s probably going through a manic episode

[–]Dwightshotdogs 102 points103 points  (20 children)

Poor Hornets fans...

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 313 points314 points  (7 children)

This does not affect our season in the slightest

[–]Clippers Bandwagonariannis_grandttkmpo 161 points162 points  (4 children)

Oh god that's even worse

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 82 points83 points  (3 children)

I mean hes our third string center. He probably just lit 150k on fire considering hes gonna get fined for publicly demanding a trade. He could definitely be good somewhere else but it sure as shit isnt working here.

[–]Tampa Bay RaptorsRaptors2017champs 21 points22 points  (9 children)

Getting the crazies off their team will be a good thing.

[–]SpursPressureMiserable 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Bro dunked on wemby and it's been downhill ever since, at least he'll always have that story to tell his grandkids

[–]atlfirsttimer 98 points99 points  (16 children)

Michael Jordan gotta be one of the worst nba owners ever tbh.

Good thing he sold

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 157 points158 points  (7 children)

I cant lie there are definitely areas where MJ fucked up but i dont think a Kai Jones trade request ranks in the top 20

[–]madlabdog 13 points14 points  (4 children)

Curious to know the top 20 list ;)

[–]Hornetsdeemerritt 8 points9 points  (3 children)

Probably just twenty times he inserted himself into our drafts or decided to have the worst paid coaching staff in the nba.

[–][SAS] Tim Duncanpaddiction 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Never forget that he rehired Clifford because he was willing to work on the cheap and keep on the rest of the coaching staff so MJ wouldn't have to pay them severance

[–]Successful_Baker_360 20 points21 points  (5 children)

He isn’t even the worst Charlotte hornets owner ever

[–]username400500 17 points18 points  (3 children)

Sadly he’s the best owner we’ve ever had. That’s how big of a disaster this franchise is

[–]Raptorsanonymousnuisance 21 points22 points  (2 children)

There needs to be an NBA Big Brother program where vets and retired guys take these guys under their wings and help them get their head straight.

[–]KnicksBuQuChi 39 points40 points  (5 children)

Is this the new Delonte West about to happen..

[–]janitorial_fluids 18 points19 points  (2 children)

Damn this just made me imagine what it would have been like if Delonte’s career had existed in the twitter era… we prob would have seen some shit ?

[–]875ysh 4 points5 points  (1 child)

[–][PHX] Kevin Durantbungajaji 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Get ready Shanghai Sharks! kai Jones in the house!!

[–]NBAbq87 13 points14 points  (2 children)

God, the one country that REALLY doesn't fuck around with drug sentences. Pray he doesn't go that route because lord knows he's stupid enough to try to get away with it anyways.

[–]CelticsCornrad5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think Kai Jones is even good enough for one of those teams to want to use up one of their foreign player slots on him so he’s probably good.
