Cameron Esposito joins Chris, Matt, and Jonah in the studio! She just did the Nerdist standup cluster recently and was hilarious. The good thing about having friends of the guys, who are also comedians, is that they can riff like Hostfuls and can be funny but get deep. If you were wondering what episode/who it would be to discuss the Supreme Court's ruling of marriage equality, this is the one. It was recorded on the afternoon of the ruling, last Friday.

The group discusses gay divorce, gay abortions, Zsa Zsa Gabor's leg, and making the Nerdist symbol for marriage equality. Growing up gay , being called gay by everyone's a an insult (whether you're gay or straight) and the pressures put on you to act a specific way for your gender. Straight males being into lesbians, males being afraid of feeling emasculated or feeling feminine, Jonah's idea for a dick sucking show, and having a comfortable place to go when you're a gay person. What it's like to date a comic, being a female comic. Listening to straight male comics talk about being alright with anyone who is gay. Just because you're an advocate for a group or movement, you don't speak for the majority. Not saying the phrase "it must be..." or "I can imagine..." Cameron tells a funny story about her dads reaction to the Supreme Court's ruling. Not upholding the "traditions" that things are based on. Cameron tells how her and Rhea began dating and how they got engaged. Losing marriage equality standup material. Keeping your dignity with being gay and having backlash. Being an angry comic and not worrying what audiences think of you.

That is all. I went to see her in Michigan in March of last year and was blown away by her charisma and how lovely she was about covering the important topics while keeping me COMPLETELY entertained.

I've recently discovered her podcast, "Queery" and love how great she is about leading her guests into sharing such wonderful and enlightening stories about their queer lives and other amazing endeavours as queer humans.
