PSA: If white collar workers lose their jobs, everyone loses their jobs.

If you think you're in a job that can't be replaced, trades, Healthcare, social work, education etc. think harder.

If, let's say, half the population loses their jobs, wtf do you think is going to happen to the economy? It's going to collapse.

Who do you think is going to pay you for your services when half the population has no money? Who is paying and contracting trades to building houses, apartment/office buildings, and facilties? Mostly white collar workers. Who is going to see therapists and paying doctors for anti depressants? White fucking collar workers.

So stop thinking "oh lucky me I'm safe". This is a large society issue. We all function together in symbiosis. It's not them vs us.

So what will happen when half of us lose our jobs? Well who the fuck knows.

And all you guys saying "oh well chatgpt sucks and is so dumb right now. It'll never replace us.". Keep in mind how fast technology grows. Saying chatgpt sucks now is like saying the internet sucked back in 1995. It'll grow exponentially fast.

Tell me I’m not the only one who feels like 4o is like 3.5

I’m stunned by the praises 4o gets, im a quite heavy chatgpt user, and it’s just careless, it doesn’t respond to the question, cannot remember for long, and if you ask “can you rephrase x in a professional way”, it just spits out pretty much x.

In my experience the very first version of 4 was the best, slowly it started being dumber too, but 4o is not an improvement either.

EDIT: I’m taking about the first version of 3.5 from last year, not the current one.

Chat gpt is really scary

I'm someone from engineering field and decided to test chat gpt with some really complex question which requires multiple equations and hours to solve for an experienced engineer. Chat gpt solved this in seconds without me even giving the input path to follow to solve it. Lots of future jobs are gonna be replaced by ai and many degrees are gonna be in waste if this is gonna be advancing further.

Edit: I was shocked to see the results at first initially and thought to post it here. I tried different versions as per request and it failed roughly 2/5 times. So its based on probability. Thanks for all insights into this, I got a deeper insight on ai revolution.

I released two uncensored models: WizardLM-2-7B-abliterated and Llama-3-Alpha-Centauri-v0.1

Hello, guys! I hope you all are having a great day/night/whatever.

I have been reading posts from this subreddit practically daily for almost a year now, however I never had an account to actually interact. Recently I created one because I wanted to share two new models that I have uploaded to HF. They can be found here:

The first one is an uncensored (though not 100%) version of WizardLM-2-7B using the orthogonalization process implemented at: https://huggingface.co/failspy/llama-3-70B-Instruct-abliterated/blob/main/ortho_cookbook.ipynb (A huge thank you to @failspy and other contributors!).

I tested the model before publishing it, using Q6_K and Q5_K_M quantizations, and it appears to work well. But it still refuses some questions.

And the second one is a fine-tune of the model failspy/Meta-Llama-3-8B-Instruct-abliterated-v3 using the dataset NobodyExistsOnTheInternet/ToxicQAFinal. My objective with this one was to get an already very uncensored model and try to remove as much censorship as possible via fine-tuning. I also tested it and it works really well (it answered all of my questions that even the original model refused to answer or answered in a vague way). Now, my plan is to further fine-tune this model on a diverse collection of datasets covering topics like STEM, coding and social sciences (I don't know which ones, yet).

I already uploaded GGUF files for the first model (second one on the way). Update: GGUF files for the second model were uploaded!

I wanted to know what you guys think about it. Any suggestions or criticism?

Thanks!
