What is there left to sanction with North Korea? I thought we stopped all trade and cultural exchanges years ago.

The Treasury also blacklisted North Korea’s Central Public Prosecutors Office, along with the former minister of social security and recently assigned Minister of People’s Armed Forces Ri Yong Gil. It also targeted a Russian university for facilitating the export of workers from North Korea.

Usually they start firing off rockets into the sea of Japan until we give them some concessions. Then we sanction them again, they fire more rockets, and the process repeats

We sanctioned them so hard, and we wanted to teach them such a lesson, that our president decided he would do what no other US president would do in 70 years, Recognize their leader and have a sit down with him. Then suggested that because of their meeting it would open doors to the complete denuclearization of North Korea. If this didn't cause you to fall out of your chair laughing ...
