At 10 year lows this is as good a time as any. Short ATM puts are interesting for the leverage, I'm not really interested in buy and hold CVS for me personally. The JUN 55 puts at $1.30 ish only using around 1k in BP in a margin account, that would be my preference.

nice trade! If you have 100 shares I might consider selling covered calls give how high vol is. JUN 100s give you 25% upside, a 5% downside buffer and added profit value, and get you out for triple digits. If you don't have 100 shares call spreads are an option, they will use a bit more capital but you could do the 100/115 call spread at $2 ish. If you have 50+ shares you are basically covered on the move even if it goes ITM.

If you have 100 and want to double down, 85/100 call ratio 1x/2x trades at a small credit but doubles your potential gain from 85-100 (long 1x 85 call short 2x 100 call) for no additional buying power.

Not sure a reason to buy $M other than the real estate which I don't think anyone wants in the post covid era. But sure - it's a possibility. As a trade though i'd rather play something like NKE at near lows than try and time an M buyout.
