It's driving me crazy that I can't find this, but it's a short story about a town on a hill that sees a gigantic monster heading towards them, but the creature is so enormous and beyond understanding that it takes it generations to reach them. The first generation prepares to try and fight it off, but as the monster looms and grows on the horizon the following generations either give up in terror or go about their lives, intent on letting the next generation deal with the future threat. At the end the monster crushes the town without even realizing it is there as it passes over it.

I thought at first it was a Tale Foundry story from their youtube channel, but I've checked so many of their videos and haven't found it and Google is no help. For all I know at this point I'm crazy and I just remember it from a dream, but hopefully someone can point me in the right way, and thanks even if you can't.

My mom watched a movie ~10 years ago that had a scene where someone shined a light into another person's eyes and worms (or some other thin, worm-looking thing) erupted from their eyes and wiggles around. That scene must've terrified me because that's all I remember of the movie. Mom says she doesn't remember watching anything like it.
