Currently watching the “Rebounding in Oslo” (S181 Ep. 2) and dying from cringe. The client is a broke college student with high expectations and is convinced the older, married realtor is flirting with him. Wondering now what the most awkward episodes are.
Stop waiving the inspection to make your offer stronger. And sellers: stop giving priority to people who waive the inspection. This is a terrible practice. People deserve to know about the house they’re going to spend 30+ years paying for.
Some of the house hunters say the strangest things.
"It's soooooo cute!" said after walking into a square, white empty room
"It's so open!" said after walking into a typical bedroom, with bed and nightstands
"What is this room for?" Well, when you buy the house it can be whatever you want idiot. There aren't Room Use Requirements (outside of some bedroom real estate laws).

This show is great 🤣

Information and discussion about the greatest show in television history: SURVIVOR!
This was said by another poster before, but it's been soundly ignored, so....
Listen, these shows (HH/HHI) have hundreds if not thousands of episodes in their libraries. If you post "that one episode that was just on" or "the one I saw tonight" that doesn't really narrow it down, especially on marathon days when they play dozens in a row.
We can't identify what episode you're talking about solely by a description of whatever scripted drama and/or quirky human behavior annoyed, irritated or offended you so deeply that you were compelled to make a whole post about it. It may come as a giant shock but some of us watch for ***gasp*** the real estate.
I'm just hiding these low effort posts now.
We don't need an official notification of season and episode number but for fks sake at least say the CITY in your post. That requires the teeny tiniest amount of effort and certainly anyone can manage that.

I can easily binge watch the show House Hunters. I’ve always loved it. But I swear at the end of 99% of the episodes, the couple is always talking about how “This is the house we’re going to start our family in” or “It’s time to have kids!” Or something like that. I wish there more episodes where it shows a couple or a single person finding a house simply for themselves because their lives are being lived for themselves. I wish I could see more than just the typical default life of a marriage and kids represented. I recently had to kinda start my future life plans over due to a breakup of a very serious relationship. I’m actually excited to live my life on my own now. But I just wish I could see my childfree future represented more. I’ll be looking for a new place within the year and idk I feel like maybe it’s silly because it’s “just a show” but I want to feel like I’m not alone in my journey of what I want for myself.

Which awful House Hunters couples do you remember? I just watched HHI S152 E12 and was viscerally uncomfortable by the tension. The wife seemingly forced the husband to move to Poland and made fun of his size…. Then he told her that her mom can sleep on the couch when she visits and she told him he’d be sleeping on the couch the rest of his life. I know some of this is set-up but the undercurrent of their relationship felt very real. Sometimes it feels like a marriage counseling assignment to go on this show.
