With worry and concern I responded, "Every six seconds, yes."
mischievous glee slithers across their face.
This was more a problem player then anything, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue where when certain players find out that cantrips are "free spells" they then spam them when not in combat.
I tried handling this with guards enforcing "no reckless discharges of magic." Frequent fights with guards, kicked out of a city, and other players threatening beat his gnome ass.
Paladin of Conquest: "Create one more fucking bonfire and I'll cram a second level smite with the wizard's portent down your throat."
Ultimately the spammer was asked to leave for other reasons.
But what about y'all? How have you handled spell spammers?
