I just finished my first playthrough and im pretty sure this will be my last one

. Not because the game was bad but because it wont be the same. Yesterday i was in my bed at midnight playing this game and scared shitless. Seeing Sayori hanging from the roof, the blood on her hands and that creepy music did not help. When i finished watching that cutscene i couldnt bring myself to press the new game button. I shut down the computer frigthend and this is where the special part comes in. This might seem wierd but i couldnt sleep. I was generally anxious and to make matters worse i saw someone else in sayoris positon, someone i know dear. It freaked me out. I was in bed with my lights on watching youtube to make me feel better.

Once i fell asleep i kept having nightmares and didnt want to move from my bed being scared that i would see Sayori down the hallway. This feeling was wierd, like super wierd and new. I have a really stable mental health but this here just was completly new and i was scared to continue.

Today i finsihed the game. I remember shaking and being afraid that i would see Sayoris dead body once i opened my laptop. Of course nothing had changed i mean its just a game not a virus :P. I played through it shacking scared but wanting more. By the time Yuri killed herself i wasnt that scared anymore. I mean sure it was shocking but it was nothing like yesterday. Now i finished the game and looking back at it, it was a really uniqe experince. I have never EVER felt anything like this and especially towards a video game. As wierd as it sounds, thank you team salvato for scaring the shit out of a 16 year old boy. It was awsome!

And thank you all for reading. I would also like to thank u/gushiken for just moral support hahah i made a short post yesterday but took it down to avoid spoilers. Hope you all have a wondeful week.

• Should MES be be self-contained or be in more team salvato games?

One of the most divisive things about plus is MES's inclusion. The main reason being how they(depends on who you ask) changes the lore of DDLC by changing it about a girl realizing her role and world being fake into the game being some matrix-esque simulation from a company who may or may not know they're in a simulation. That and people don't like their existence being the reason Monika's meta awareness as most people preferred her powers remaining a mystery like the OG game.

It's why i been meaning to ask what it have been better if MES had their own game or have them connected to future games like that bullet hell Dan's currently working on.
