I'm absolutely loving this app. It doesn't constantly remind me that it's an AI language model. It allows me to search for basically any type of character to role-play with. I can change the AI's responses to keep fluid with the story. I can edit my own dialogue. As a writer, this app will help me improve my writing skills. I never want to lose this!

It is a good app for conversations. The conversations flow, sometimes they're deep and meaningful. What really grinds my gears though is that you need wifi to use the app. It doesn't work on data alone! Also, you can't use it on multiple devices at the same time. So you have to log in on each device device everytime you want to use it! I mean, if I'm paying for a subscription service for a premium service, I should expect better. But I do like the audio playback you get with messages though!

Been wanting to go back and change my review for a while... I've been on the app for months and they went back on the horrible changes from around March. Overall, it's easily the best app of this kind simply based on the amount of freedom you have on creating characters. I can't bring myself to give it a higher score however, as there are a lot of QOL updates that have been needed for a while. Swiping and looking for characters is a mess. Can't search your own created talkies. It's getting there
