I live in a relatively new development (3-4 years old) and my neighbors across the street have FiOS available to them but my house does not. When I put my address in to check for FiOS availability, I am only offered 5G Home Internet. There was a Verizon tech running fiber and installing an ONT at a neighbor's house a while back and I asked them how I could have FiOS added to my house. He said he would have his supervisor reach out to me but haven't heard a thing (this was about a year ago). Any suggestions on how to make this happen or who I have to speak to?
I have a HiSense A65K with a Vizio V21d soundbar. Currently the fios box (VMS4100) is connected to the TV HDMI eARC port, and the soundbar is connected via optical to the fios box. However, the soundbar has other inputs and I would like to get the TV to output sound to it directly so I could use GoogleTV on occasion, outside the Fios orbit. Is this possible? I've tried bluetoothing the soundbar to the TV, but the audio sync is terrible on every setting (PCM, passthrough, etc).
