‘99’s not quite sublime ‘99’s not quite sublime

Alrighty folks. So I’ve got a ‘99 MIM tele I bought used that they got all dressed up. Trem bridge, some kind of aftermarket single coils, spackled pick guard and purple finish with the original christened maple neck. Looks like a genuine 1999 treat. But the tone? I don’t like it. I want this thing to sound somewhere between sturgill’s life ain’t fair and the world is mean and anything by Waylon. I want it to burp, rattle, fart, and cry like those tele’s did in Nashville back in the golden days. So I bought a three piece brass saddle bridge. But the pickups… where do I go from here? Any pointers?

Help choosing a tele body Help choosing a tele body

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Tele CV Squier that I really enjoyed, except it's quite heavy and the neck is overly glossy. This prompted me to go on a shopping spree to upgrade stuff—I got a nice neck with a satin finish neck, a prewired 4-way switch, and Fralin vintage pickups. It dawned on me that the only thing left for a completely new guitar is a body.

I returned the Tele and now I'm looking to purchase a body. I really need help choosing the right one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My budget is around 300$

Thanks!!

Ive been creating some prints of some of my favourite guitars recently and was curious to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing them. Id love to see if anyone has any suggestions on other colours they'd like to see! New bridge pickup wont fit in bridge... ARG New bridge pickup wont fit in bridge... ARG

Hi all,

I'm working on a Tele kit and I ordered some Mojo Tone telecaster pickups. I've used them before and being from NC I love to support local. I got them and at 0630 this am I opened them up and started fiddling with them. I quickly noticed that they didn't fit in the bridge. The top metal piece is just a tad bigger than the bridge opening. I grabbed an old fender pickup I had and it fits although it's also a tad larger than the kit pickup.

Has anyone run into this?

Help on decision about American Pro Tele Help on decision about American Pro Tele

Hey, recently I saw this was on sale in my country, which means it is not crazy expensive, and same price in USA. I always wanted a premium guitar, and tele is a great choice, but I lost touch with different versions and variants of it - can someone please give me some advice if this is a good guitar https://www.mitrosmusic.com/proizvod/24416-Fender-Legacy--American-Pro-Telecaster-RW-OWT%2A/

Help me pick a thinline? Help me pick a thinline?

I was looking to buy a telecaster thinline but ran into an issue, and that is (while maybe kind of picky) i dont like how the knobs look. By this i mean i prefer the regular telecaster knobs with the metal bit under it, rather than the way telecaster thinlines normally have their knobs. My best example of this is the fender telecaster ltd p90, but those are very expensive, and ive noticed there are others with the regular telecaster knobs, but I dont know which ones are good and which arent. If someone could help me choose a good one like that but isnt too expensive like a p90 that would be great thankyou!
