My old pair of A40s are dying a death and was thinking of upgrading to the A50X. I'm just wondering is it possible to connect them to my PS5 for audio and voice chat, but also to my laptop for audio output only? Sometimes if I'm doing something monotonous I might put music or a movie on my laptop through my A40s?
Sorry if this is a dumb question I just don't want to waste the £350 on them.
Also my reasoning is because these bitches do not feel like the 140 dollars I spent like bro these are way worse then my à20s and bro I'm getting salty that I'm barely hearing shit besides some bass boosted music

I have an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with one headphone jack and my refurbished Astro A10s from Amazon have good audio but the mic doesn’t appear in anything. When I’m on Discord I try to change my input device to the headset but nothing shows. I went on sound control panel and even checked my disabled devices, I reinstalled my audio drivers, I checked if it was muted but nothing seems to work. My headset is seen as headphones to my Windows 11 laptop for some reason when I’m on the sound control panel and apparently it’s supposed to say headset instead and when I checked the Device Manager, the headset was marked as Realtek Audio as headphones. The mic works completely fine on my PS4 so it is for sure a software issue. Can someone please give advice on how to fix this?
