Rich Lister behind LEGO movies buys $12m Byron digs

While Animal Logic co-founder and AFR Rich Lister Zareh Nalbandian is behind some of the most colourful and successful animated films on the planet – including Peter Rabbit, Happy Feet and the LEGO movies – the industry heavyweight appears to prefer a restrained palette when it comes to his personal space – monochrome, in fact.

The film animation pioneer and his wife Ping have emerged as the $12 million buyers of Byron hinterland property Nox, latin for night, which is a reference to its black on black colour palette.
