I mean, she got an Oscar, Golden Globe, SAG and BAFTA award for Blue Jasmine. She’s hardly going to badmouth him. I hate to admit that it was actually a really good movie and she had a fabulous performance in it. Expecting actors and performers and entertainers to be beacons of morality is never not a failing enterprise. She’s just a tall, pretty woman who plays pretend in front of a camera.

I didn’t know what this is about and I found this article

Basically he raped a 13 yo girl after drugging her and giving her alcohol. He pleaded guilty and fled to France. Somehow everyone apologized for him.

Many more have come forward. Weird that Cate is still in the antiquated mindset of apologizing for pdf rapist… going so far as to name her child!? What in the world…
