First time doing this. Decided to 3d print the shell to make it not look like a bomb. Hope it won’t explode…

This subreddit has been taken private from June12 in support of the strike on reddit to protest the upcoming changes to the pricing structure for the reddit API and related rule changes. ------- You probably want all your electronics to run on the 18650 lithium-ion cell. You just don't know it yet.

What in the hell happened?

Prior to Covid I would buy non-functioning pedals on eBay and reverb for very reasonable prices. I would fix and keep some but sold most. Covid happens and I guess everyone thought they could fix any electronics. Prices sky rocketed. And if I got the rare good buy it was from someone who attempted a repair and butchered the board beyond repair. I have not checked in a year or so and looked today. It’s even worse! Non-functioning units priced at what a functioning unit would be worth. Sometimes more expensive. I don’t know if it will ever go back to what it was. Damn shame.

Anyone know how to open this 7.5 volt nickel cadmium battery in a less barbaric way than I’m thinking of?

Found a Gizmondo at a flea market but the charging port was broken off the board and it was missing the charger, so in compliance with EU Directive 2022/2380, I decided to salvage a USB C port from a broken power bank and put it in the world's worst-ever selling handheld games console.

Instances of crazy fixes that actually ended up working. Or not working, I'm a description, not the cops.

I will be taking over an FRC program when I move to a new school next year. I’ve not coached FRC and have only done FTC. The school is building a brand new building in which a generous space will be dedicated to robotics. I will be able to set up the space as I see fit. With this in mind, I’m looking for insight and suggestions as to current teams working space. It would be helpful to see some photos or video tours of your spaces so I can make the most use of the space. I’m located in FL as well so if any teams are local and open to me coming to see your space in person, I would be open to that as well. Thanks in advance!

Trying to modify this code to work with the Arduino uno r4

So I’ve been working on a Spotify controller project but I’ve run into a problem when modifying this Spotify api library to work with my r4 instead of the esp32 but I’ve run into a problem trying to find a substitute for the web server being used in the code below. So please let me know how I can get this working with the r4. Thank you !

The library: https://github.com/witnessmenow/spotify-api-arduino The example code: https://github.com/witnessmenow/spotify-api-arduino/blob/main/examples/getRefreshToken/getRefreshToken.ino
