movies, books, tv shows, even music and youtube videos. i’m looking for anything that matches that “liminal aesthetic”; empty or infinite spaces, unreality, the fear of the unknown. hit me!

I am making a list of the greatest trilogies in horror. The only rules being that it’s an unbroken trilogy, and there is no stinker among them, only absolute bangers. This is what I currently have:
Ringu-Ringu 2-Ringu 0: Birthday
Halloween-Halloween 2-Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
Hatchet-Hatchet 2-Hatchet 3
One missed call-One missed call 2-One missed call 3 final
Night of the living dead-Dawn of the dead-Day of the dead
.
.
.
I would also like to mention Saw, A Nightmare on Elm street and Friday the 13th. These have great trilogies in them, but I consider them all a boxed set with only 1 weak entry for each.
What others would you add to the list?

Halloween Horror Nights is an annual Halloween event that occurs at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Singapore. Universal Studios remains operational during the day and transitions to Halloween Horror Nights at night. The event features haunted houses, "scare zones" and live entertainment, many of which utilize Universal's characters and other licenses. Reminder: please check out the community FAQ below.
So it’s very clear hollywoods announcements are coming later than Orlando’s… but why are some of you so negative towards hollywood’s event ? Someone asks a simple question and the Orlando folks get all pissy and downvote them for just wondering why they haven’t gotten word on anything yet ( fair question to ask imo ). Mind you EVERYONE was antsy just in early may because nothing had been announced for either event. Bring up any HW house and it’s compared to an unrelated OR house or something they’ve done in the past. HW gets a cool house/scarezone and you’re upset Orlando didn’t get it, or randomly bringing up OR being “better” on a HW post. Have some of you even been to both or are you just biased ?? They’re great events, both with hit or misses each year and shouldn’t be pitted against each other. Nothing wrong with have a preference between the two but this sub isn’t just for Orlando. The folks in Hollywood just want to feel the same excitement towards the event they’re passionate about. I personally enjoy them both and am too impatiently waiting on a HW announcement.
