So…these new Ali velshi “live in ukraine- weekdays 9pm” commercials??

It’s getting pretty frustrating how vague msnbc is still being about rachel & the 9pm slot (not to mention their programming in general). It’s sounds dumb to say but I feel like it’s genuinely disrespectful to fans/audience to be so nondescript. She said she’d “be back in April” but there’s 0 indication of when or whether that stands.

Even if they said, “x date in may or June” it’d be infinitely better than just pretending like their entire base wasn’t populated by maddow fans. Sigh.

  • EDIT + apologies for extending this BUT:

I wish this thread hadn’t mostly devolved into the personalization of Rachel’s break. she can take breaks and is entitled to do with them, whatever she wants. Hopefully nobody subscribed to this sub questions whether she deserves it.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t responsibilities of the umbrella corp. (nbc) — or people on nbc/her PR team(s) to do what’s in the best interest of all parties: Comcast (lol), nbc, msnbc, rachel, anchors AND fans/consumers.

The only thing that builds trust is consistency and msnbc has been anything but consistent.

Project 2025 is a comprehensive transition plan organized by ultra conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation to guide the next GOP presidential administration. It includes a 900 page set of policy proposals, a vetted list of workers to replace the federal workforce, a secret 180 day plan to facilitate drastic change and an academy to teach loyalist employees how to enact it's extremist, Evangelical agenda.

To all those Yang Gang butthurt that "MSNBC" is now "copying" Yang and stealing "his ideas"...

That's Yang's response to Ali Velshi.

Get over yourself about whose idea it was, or Yang not getting proper credit. He doesn't care -- as long as the idea get promoted.

Now stop your whining and crying.

Ali Velshi Interviewed Bernie. I did not hear what I wanted to hear.

The Interview was lengthy, almost 30 minutes, and Ali was unfailingly respectful. Bernie got to deliver his message.

The bad news is that his message was not about his plan to fight this fight for the Democratic nomination until the very last minute. Now, he May be planning to do just that, but he surely didn't say so.

What he did say is that his supporters have different views of the road ahead. WTF. Bernie repeated that tidbit at least twice.

In a previous interview, the one with Whoppi, Bernie told the insistent Whoopi that his staff and Joe's staff have been speaking. Again, WTF.

So, that's my question---WTF?
