Let's do this! I've never hosted a setlist thread before, but I think I'm ready. Let's have some fun! I'm streaming from UCSD grad housing and the mix sounds great so far :)

LIVEPHISH is streaming this show for 25 dollaridoos, and they are streaming the audio for free on Sirius XM Phish channel. Apparently you can also hang with people in a VR space and stream it like did -- check it: how cool is that!?

We're not trying to save Zelda, but I keep seeing people looking for someone named Link. If you want to help someone on their quest, do so in the DMs please :)

-- Pretty sure the new LED bar lights are GLP Impression x4 bars The best way I can think of describing it, as far as I can tell, is a butt-ton of these things () attached to the existing light trusses AND behind the band on columns on the stage. The sweeps and work he's doing with the full rig tonight is just bonkers. Light trusses looking like they are intertwining with each other. Just outrageous!!

-- Here come the synths. Page using all of his experience with synthesis, especially from his most recent album, to add a really spacey, floating, ambient, and just full-of-life warp drive tone.

-- Chris Kuroda pulling out all the stops. Not sure I can totally compute the sheer magnitude of this light rig. So amazing to see the evolution of this moving rig up until now.

-- Cute melody emerging from Trey, sounds like

-- page back on the Rhodes, Fish driving a powerful groove, Mike layin down nice lines. Falling into a driving jam bound to segue into something awesome

Going off comments in this , it seems like there are a lot of people looking to make friends in the area. I'm trying to see if there would be any interest in getting a group together and trying to somewhat regularly meet. Since it's not the easiest to make friends as a busy adult, let's try and help each other out!

This post is just to see interest. We can figure out a plan on what to do later!

EDIT: OK, there's clearly a want here as indicated by the 30+ comments. I'm gonna do some research into a nice casual spot that can handle at least that many without breaking the bank​. Hi guys! First post on reddit ever, so here we go!

I'm 26 years old and live in Switzerland - there might be an opportunity within my company for me to move to Alpharetta and take over a new role there.

It would be a huge change for me, as this would be my first time living alone & moving to the other side of the world basically. But i believe for my personal (& professional) growth this could mean a big deal & the adventure of a lifetime.

However, i'm a little unsure about Alpharetta - is it maybe too drastic of a change? Are there enough activities to do outside of work? What is your impression of the people - are they welcoming / open to strangers / foreigners?😅

Feel free to share any opinions / thoughts / recommendations on this whole thing! Anything is appreciated! Thanks!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for the awards and kind words last night. My reddit account was blowin' up with notifications to the point where it just didn't tell me that I got 3 golds until I checked in the morning. To tell you the truth, running the setlist in the engaged and interactive way that I do, it is a bit too much to pay attention to my DMs.

I had a really fun time running the setlist thread in last night. So many positive comments, and just sharing in the groove with all of you. That, along with the phenomenal performance we all watched together, really made my night! I liked it so much that I'm running the setlist thread again tonight!!

The Phish channel on XM radio will be streaming the audio (last night they were about 30 seconds behind the live stream, but was soundboard quality. Usually, there are some MXLR streams that are just mirroring the XM radio feed-- not sure how Phish.Inc feels about that.

Where did you move from and what surprised you the most about the area? Good or bad.

Hi! I’m moving from Boston to Alpharetta in Aug/Sept and I’m wondering if anyone else has moved there & made friends w people or has advice?

I currently take fitness classes at a YMCA near Boston and have found that was a good way to meet people and I also liked that it was a gym membership that also offered a variety of classes. Not sure if there’s a gym like that nearby?

I’ll be working remotely for my current company and will likely be spending time working at cafes most days.

I’m looking to move to either Bell Alpharetta (top choice) or Cortland Windward (2nd choice) if possible.

I enjoy reading, walks, outdoor views, fitness / healthy, good food, coffee, and I like to go out for drinks sometimes too (but obviously wouldn’t want to do that alone)

My aunt lives nearby there and I’ll have lots of friends visiting throughout the first year so I won’t be totally alone, but it would be nice to meet some people in the area!

Any advice for things to do / good ways to meet friends would be appreciated :) thank you!

How strict is the lot scene in Alpharetta when it comes to bud and balloons? it’s my first time at a southern illegal state so i don’t know
