I’m new to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and entering this discussion I was pretty pro-Israel, particularly after hearing Sam’s most recent podcast.
Today I was trying to find the opposing argument, and I found Abby Martin. Unless she is purely making some of this stuff up, she builds a pretty strong case against Israel. What do you guys think? Have you heard her work? Is she a trusted source?
I’m aware she worked for RT, does that automatically discredit her as Russian disinformation? Or is it defensible being as she’s so critical of the American government that no journalistic institution would go near her?
I’m still figuring out where I stand on the issue, and I’d appreciate as much nuance as you have to offer. Thanks
