You may feature a politician in your meme, but keep political posts to a more suitable subreddit such as r/PoliticalHumor.

Repetition is NOT the key to comedy.

Yes, yes: This is very cringeworthy and embarrassing.

It was funny a few times. Here is an incomplete list of all the posts that have been submitted since:

Even more have been automatically filtered out by the site's bots, because so many similar posts have been submitted, they think we're being DDOS'd.

It was funny: The overwhelming repetition of it all has drained all humor from it. You have hastened the inevitable death of this joke.

It is so declared:

  1. We will be trimming down these posts.

  2. All future posts of this nature will be redirected here.

  3. We are not interested in debating this here or in ModMail.

What's going on with all the Revolutionary War & airport memes?

Just checked on Imgur a while ago & there's tons of those memes involving Revolutionary War & Airport on the front page.

Example: https://m.imgur.com/r/PoliticalHumor/onhMvaZ

I reckon it has to do with American politics? I'm not from USA so please enlighten me on it.

if you want something like that there's plenty of other places to go.

go to r/neocentrism for super lax moderation that let's you post memes from most points of view as long as they're funny

if you instead want an ideological safespace, idk go to r/neoliberal or r/PoliticalHumor or something

r/The_Donald memes are better than r/PoliticalHumor

It’s very easy to hate r/The_Donald. One week I scrolled r/The_Donald and r/PoliticalHumor. I know one is full of conservative jokes and another one is full of liberal jokes. In r/PoliticalHumor, jokes are bland. As long as it has anti-Trump sentiment it goes to the top. In r/The_Donald, they actually put an effort to be funny rather than being just pro-Trump.

My political leaning has nothing to do with this opinion. In fact, I did not vote Trump in 2016.
