Is there a way to set motion recording without sending me alerts? Is there a way to set motion recording without sending me alerts?
Tips n Tricks

Today I was working around the side of my house, and I had some tools out front, while I'm working there quietly, a sketchy looking person on a bicycle stops for a couple of seconds (over 5 seconds) on the sidewalk and was clearly eyeing the tools before noticing me and rolling on.

There was no event recorded.

The thing is, I would like to periodically check if there is any suspicious activity (such as described above) without getting bombarded with notifications all day. Obviously anyone who crosses into my yard would trigger an event, but I want to observe what's going on past my yard for a little while, and possibly trigger if anyone idles there.

Is there any way to do this?

It's a doorbell, and isn't hard-wired.

I am planning to throw a surprise birthday party for my partner in our backyard. We have a ring camera there, which sends alerts upon detecting any person/motion. I want to disable it temporarily while I am setting up for the party. But also I don’t wanna disconnect the WiFi being that we have kids I am planning to throw a surprise birthday party for my partner in our backyard.
