"Alt-Right" and Overt Racist Misogynists Focus Attention On Lauren Southern

Something that has become clear during my 10 years of running ARC as well as the decade of work preceding the blog is that most of the racists I've come across hate women as much as they hate any non-white ethnic group, Jew, or Muslim as per the following rather disgusting example:

This shouldn't be a surprise. The racist movement has historically been dominated by men who view women even of the same ethnicity not as their equals but at best as baby factories. Relatively few women seem to enter into this world which further supports the jaded view of these men that "white women" are morally weak and easily led astray by cultural trends. Of those few women who do enter this world, many if not most soon become disillusioned by the hypocrisy, rampant sexual violence, and toxic social environment fostered by the movement. The mindset of many men, frustrated by their inability to find sexual partners, might be understood in the context of the novel KD Rebel written by convicted murderer and terrorist David Lane. The novel is for all intents and purposes an extended rape fantasy in which the heroes kidnap women from urban centers, divide them among themselves, and sexually assault them until they accept their fate as wives and incubators of the new order while their "husbands" engage in a campaign of genocidal terror.

ARC has written about this many times in the past including one article that examined the phenomena from both an historical and contemporary perspective  (we also had a guest author who came at the issue from a sociological point-of-view). A frequent example of the "white nationalist" mind regarding women found on ARC has been VNN mainstay and London, Ontario resident Tomasz Winnicki:

In recent years the racist movement has made an effort to rebrand itself as "alt-right." Those alt-right supporters linked to.... let's say 4Chan are also notoriously misogynistic as well (see Gamergate controversy as an example), however some members of this subgroup of bigots are often more adept at using social media and cultural touchstones. They couch their hatred in appeals to nationalism and tradition. The movement is also notoriously anti-feminist. Still, that anti-feminism has counter-intuitively attracted some women who have become quite prominent figures in the alt-right:

Lauren Southern, formerly of Ezra Levant's "Rebel Media," has been a bit of a darling of the alt-right due to youth and attractiveness, her attacks on feminism, and her support of ultra-conservative traditionalism; she has amassed a considerable following. Her appeal has crossed over into the more overt racists on Stormfront and even the even more racist VNN:

However she and other female alt-right personalities have come to shockingly learn that their male alt-right anti-feminist admirers are misogynistic assholes who thought it was all cute that these women were speaking out in support of their retrogressive values, but now it is time for them to shut up, marry good white men, and start pumping out the babies:

One of those "alt-right" men attacking their female alt-right counterparts is rape advocate Daryush "Roosh V" Valizadeh who's trip to Canada went rather poorly, though Ezra (as it turns out ironically) engaged in a softball interview with him.

July 2016 Bits and Bites

This writer is currently on vacation, however there have been a few stories that have come out lately that our readers may find of interest.

Back when we first wrote about Monika Schaefer, former Green Party federal candidate and current Holocaust denier, we anticipated that the like of Paulie, Arthur Topham, and now nutter Brian Ruhe would play the "persecuted German" angle. We haven't been disappointed:

Fromm Picks Up Levant's Islamaphobic Batton and Runs With It

On November 11, Ezra wrote an article accusing the Essex Board of Education in Ontario of exempting Muslims from participating in Remembrance Day and questioned the patriotism of Muslim Canadians. He suggested people who he outraged sign a petition that condemned the board's decision on a website his article linked to (Canada: Love It Or Leave) and, while there, to maybe purchase a charming t-shirt.

The problem with all of this is that none of it was true. Yes, there was a memo that went out from the school board which suggested alternative Remembrance Day commemorations, but the memo was directed at those schools where parents might have safety concerns as it had only been a couple of weeks since the murder of an honor guard at the Canadian War Memorial. The story was debunked as the product mainly of Levant's fevered, Islamaphobic, imagination, though he did do quite a good job of appealing to his xenophobic base of support.

One of those xenophobes though likely hats him as much as any Muslim though:

Yep, Paulie:

Really, it's not as if we should be surprised. Paulie might be an anti-Semite in addition to a racist, but he is also an opportunist and if there's any opening for him to inject his particular brand of Nativism and bigotry into the public sphere, he'll be in like Flynn.

Now, after a lot (and we mean a hell of a lot) of criticism, Levant backed down and even.... begrudgingly,... admitted he was wrong in the passive-aggressive way we have come to know and love from him. He also changed the website to omit mention of Muslims, though he still takes a crack at the school board:

He also noted that no parent in the entire Essex County School Board area had asked for an exemption for their child. In short, everyone participated.

So, the story ended in a bit of a whimper.

Except if you're Paulie Fromm and you want to continue to flog a dead horse:

Paulie posted the following video Sunday, a full 5 days after the original story Levant published was thoroughly discredited:

Brandon Martinez Schooled on Paulie's Facebook Wall

Our resident vampire has taken an extended vacation but should be back in October or early November. In the meantime you'll have to put up with more of me and any of the other members of the Collective who contribute during nosferatu's absence.

We first learned about "journalist" Brandon Martinez (who we've taken to lovingly refer to as Turd Blossom) this past February but didn't really pay all that much attention. Mr. Martinez has contributed to such august online journals as "Veterans Today" and "Veterans News Now" as well as Press TV out of Iran. The former two online publications are rife with conspiracy theories (many involving 9/11 and the involvement of Israel and/or Jews in general) and Holocaust denial. And Press TV, when looking for an international perspective on world events, believe that David Duke and Mike Harris are reasonable choices.

It then might not be surprising that Brandon Martinez also holds a similar world view of a world controlled by a vast Jewish cabal, as evidenced in most of his own writing:

  • February 16, 2014: In an article titled “Scrutinizing Israel role in 2001 anthrax attacks,” Martinez claims that the anthrax attacks immediately following the 9/11 terrorist bombings originated from Israel’s biological and chemical industry, and implied the existence of a nefarious collaboration between the Israel and the Bush administration to carry out the attacks. Martinez also claims that the Israelis placed the blame for the anthrax attacks on its Arab enemies as a pretext to force the U.S. to go to war against Iraq
  • January 26, 2014: In an article titled “Israeli militarism predicated on 9/11 deception,” Martinez claims that Israel has a history of conducting false flag operations and that the 9/11 attack was Israel’s “grandest deception.
  • January 13, 2014: In an article titled “Zionist perversion of history threatens world peace,” Martinez promotes the age-old anti-Semitic conspiracy of Zionist control over Hollywood. Zionist control of Hollywood, Martinez alleges, is why Hitler is depicted as a “villainous demon,” while in reality, “Zionist Jews themselves were Hitler’s most enthusiastic collaborators.” Elsewhere in the article, Martinez calls the Holocaust and the number of Jewish victims a “myth” and part of “Zionist propaganda.”

More recently, Martinez  has come under the influence of our favorite potential porcine politician Paulie (okay, he doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning in October, but I had a "p" thing going and wanted to see how far I could go with it). Not only are the Jews responsible for 9/11 and most other nefarious international plots, but they are also responsible for trying to keep the white man down here on the home front:

By the way, Joshua Blakeney is another Canadian "journalist" who writes for "Veterans Today" and serves as a correspondent for Press TV. He's also quite a charmer.

Now Mr. Martinez, who has a very smug estimation of his own intellect, likely never expected that he would be challenged on Paulie's own Facebook page.

But challenged he was. And for those who appreciate a good, intellectual, beat-down, I hope you enjoy the show:
