Paulie Doesn't Bother Fact Checking

We haven't made fun of Paulie for at least a few days now, but just when we're starting to get a bit twitchy, Paulie comes through for us in a big way:

We really don't know why he continues to post pictures of himself that makes him appear as a buffoon, but we ain't going to complain about it. This particular photo was posted along with a story, one which he also posted on the White News Now forum, which purports to show that Canadian politicians are stupid. His brief commentary precedes the, "inside information" from a WestJet employee:

A Little Birdie Told Us Something...

... and it sounds like it is NOT something that the folks at Free Dominion are going to like.

More on that soon we hope.

And to, "Goldfish", could you send us your email address?

Part II: And How Does the Extreme Right React to Jack Layton's Passing? Exactly How You Would Expect

In our last article, we discussed briefly the reaction of those one might consider to be "mainstream" conservatives to the news of Jack Layton's death. Those reactions seem to range from sincere admiration for a respected adversary to general douchebaggery. However we didn't discuss the reaction of those we cover on this blog.

Yep, the boneheads have something to say too.

There is a belief that one can measure the worth of a person by the respect that his or her ideological opponents has for that person. In all likelihood, this was intended to apply to ideological opponents who are mainstream and here Jack fares very well. However, we at ARC believe that one can measure the worth of a person by how hated that person is by the most vile, loathsome elements of our society.

Part I: The "Mainstream" Right React to Jack Layton's Passing (Resposes Vary)

Most, though not all, members of the Collective are supporters of the NDP. We know, you're absolutely shocked by this revelation, we're sure. Anyways, although it had been expected, Jack Layton's death hit us pretty hard. We were however heartened to see the outpouring of genuine affection and gratitude directed at a man who spent his life in public service and who tried to make Canada better. Across the political spectrum, on the right to the left, people have been paying tribute to Jack.

We were curious to see what the right were saying and took a look on the Free Dominion boards. We were pleased to see that in spite of our SIGNIFICANT ideological differences (and God knows they are no friends of this blog) we saw that we could find some common ground in paying respect to a man who, agree with him or not, was true to his convictions and who courageously fought a terrible disease with dignity.

To those posters on Free Dominion who acted in a humane manner, you should be commended. But really? You had to get in this dig?

Jack Layton: 1950 - 2011

The Honourable Jack Layton's last letter to Canadians

August 20, 2011
Toronto, Ontario

Dear Friends,

Tens of thousands of Canadians have written to me in recent weeks to wish me well. I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughtful, inspiring and often beautiful notes, cards and gifts. Your spirit and love have lit up my home, my spirit, and my determination.

Hey! April is a Fan!

Well color us surprised to find out that April Gaede read our latest article concerning her and her.... uhm... endorsement of Barack Obama:

Oh, April, you have it all wrong. It doesn't bother us. You simply continue to live up (or down?) to our expectations.

Rationalizing Violence; Mainstreaming Hatred

We made a conscious decision not to write about Anders Breivik and the tragedy in Norway which was the inevitable result of overblown rhetoric and xenophobia. His act of terrorism is something we had been warning about on this blog for some time and, in all honesty, the emotions have been a bit raw.

That being said, it might be time to begin discussing this event soon, as well as the circumstances that led to the deaths of so many people, as well as the people who continue to fan the flames. This realization was brought home when we were sent a link to Free Dominion and a thread complaining about "left-wing media bias" in Norway. Norwegian media outlets are critical of right-wing political commentators who, while not supportive of Breivik's actions, helped to create a climate in which such an event could occur.

And sadly, this is the first response, one that rationalizes future murders:

Isn't An Implied Threat to Harm the President of the United States Illegal?

Okay, so this deals exclusively with American boneheads, but as Paulie and April are friends, we sort of keep tabs on her too.

A little backstory. April Gaede is best known as the mother and promoter (or, better put, figurative pimp) of Prussian Blue, twin girls who, in their preteens, were trotted out to WN rallies and conferences to entertain boneheads with their a set of catchy racist tunes.

Fast forward a few years. Lynx and Lamb, now 19 and no longer under their mother's watchful eye, have started to reject the racist ideology their mother had tried to indoctrinate them into as children (they aren't all the way there yet, but we remain hopeful). And April is not dealing well with this. At all. After all, the girls were sort of the only reason people paid much attention to April.

So, how does April Gaede, who really likes being the center of attention, remain in the center of attention?

Copious us of the, "n" word and outrageous statements, sort of like this one:

Third Annual Dead Nazi Day

We`re keeping it simple this year, though if any of our readers wish to share how they decided to spend, `Dead Nazi Day" we would love to hear about it.

In the meantime, news that has sent the boneheads into an apoplectic rage:

Paulie's Status in the WN Movement in Canada Diminishing?

A couple of weeks ago, Paulie decided to promote the cause of some of his newer friends. No, not of boneheads, but some of the folks at Free Dominion:

We have always marvelled at the support Mark and Connie lend lend to Paulie given his unabashed trashing of Israel and, well, stuff like this:

But the purpose today really isn't to beat up on Free Dominion. It's to comment on what appears to be the loss of support from Paulie's more traditional supporters. We've certainly posted stories like this before, but what we find interesting is how specific the charges are becoming from people who have met Paulie.

Putting the Lie to the London Race Riot Myth

When the London riots began, we waited for the inevitable reaction from the usual suspects who would, once again, try to claim this as an example of (pick any one or combination of the following):

1.The failures of multiculturalism.
2.The inherent inferiority of [INSERT YOUR MOST VISIBLE MINORITY OF CHOICE HERE]
3. The necessity of closing immigration to any people who's skin colour doesn't fall within the range of the proscribe Munsell color chart.

It didn't take all that long for Paulie to step up to the plate:

Reitmeier Attempts to Send Stormfront Posts to the Memory Hole

Missed this initially, but we figured that it wasn't to late to share it with our readers:

Now why would Robbie try to have his posts on Stormfront removed?

Oh yeah! That thing about being arrested on suspicion of murder.
Yeah, it doesn't work like that, "AG_Youth." You see, even if you could delete the account, his posts will remain. And if the posts are taken down, they can still be accessed through the Wayback Machine. And, barring that, we here at ARC have an extensive collection of Robert's posts on Stormfront as well as other locations, like Nexopia.

As potential evidence tampering goes, this was pretty damn sloppy.

Further Proof that It Isn't Hard to Trick a Bonehead

We're currently working on other projects right now (some related to the blog, some completely unrelated) but we couldn't not allow our readers the pleasure we had upon reading this article:

Uhm. Wow.

Goudreau is a nobody in the "White Nationalist" movement. He is viewed as a joke even amongst his fellow travellers. A modicum of research would clearly indicate this, as well as the fact that the man appears to have delusions of grandeur at best, and is mentally ill or insane at worst.

With this in mind, one of Canada's largest national newspapers decided to pull him out from anonymity and give him a public forum that will stroke his ego for the next 5 decades (keeping in mind he's still crowing about appearing in a documentary for 3 seconds 20 years ago):

Jason Kenney Responds to B&H; Propaganda

Okay, on the one hand we hate giving McKee and his, as our friend Daryle describes them on OPP, mall rats any publicity. Add to this we generally think Jason Kenney is at best a schmuck and at worst not a hell of a lot better on some issues than many of the boneheads we cover on this blog (better dresser that Paulie, though). However, given that Kenney has a bit of a history with McKee and his biggest supporter, Paul Fromm, we thought his statement on the recent posters in Forrest Lawn should be viewed by our readers:

Minister Kenney Condemns Anti-Immigrant Posters in Calgary

Ottawa, August 1, 2011 — The Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, issued the following statement condemning anti-immigrant posters in Calgary.

“I was disgusted to read about posters from a self-proclaimed “White Nationalist” group, which recently appeared in Calgary. These are loathsome individuals whose views are both sickening and ridiculous. They believe that, by convincing a gang of nasty half-wits to play dress up and litter suburban streets with crude and menacing flyers, they are promoting ‘European culture.’ The culture of Socrates, Schiller and Shakespeare deserves better.

September 2011 Bits and Bites: Blasts From the Distant Past, the Recent Past, and Current News Sandwiched in the Middle

Sometimes we like to revisit some older stories, some of which are so old they predate this blog by close to four decades.

For example, here's a name we haven't heard about in years:

Well, it's not entirely true that you were the provincial Socred leader, is it Paulie?

McKee and Co. At it Again

McKee is good at two things. He's good at starting new racist groups in Calgary and, in spite of the small number of members, getting publicity for their actions. He's also good at alienating his former friends. Thus is the reason for the latest recruiting drive:

Racist posters part of larger campaign, activist says

An anti-racist activist says a poster campaign by white supremacists in Calgary and Edmonton is part of a larger effort.
The group Blood and Honour Canada is encouraging members and sympathizers to download posters from its website with an anti-immigration message.
