Ranting here.

Just spent waaay to long between Etsy, some Chinese website and a lot of weird south American sites trying to take down listings of my models that are only available for personal use.

Thanks to the 3d printing gods that Etsy let you select multiple listings.

Contact information can be found in all of the site where you can download my models so if people really wanted to do things properly they just needed to contact me.

• What you wish you knew/did when you first got your printer?

My printer is arriving today and I'm wondering what I should know or do when I first get the printer.

Things like: printer check-up for defects or damages, which slicer to use and what are some important settings within the slicer, hardware upgrades, printable upgrades, prints that are a must, calibration, etc..

For context, I only had an ender 7 prior to this and it's been like 5 or 6 months since I last used it after I got fed up with its constant maintenance requirement for how many times it clogged itself up or broke down. So, it's been a while since I've been in the hobby. And I wasn't keen on finding printable upgrades or cool popular prints asthetically or functionally.

I recently got my girlfriend (who has a higher income than me) into 3d printing and I gotta say it's been great. My extruder coupler was going so I mention it and she automatically adds it on Amazon and asks what else I need to make free shipping minimum.

I have a flexible magnetic build plate, all metal extruder, new couplers, upgraded bed springs, upgraded Bowden, and a ton of nozzles coming on Monday 😊
