'It just shattered' - Winner Nemo explains how the Eurovision trophy broke
Swiss singer Nemo was greeted by hundreds of fans at Zurich airport after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden with the song The Code.
Speaking to the press, Nemo described the moment the trophy was accidentally broken: "I lift it and when I put it down, it just shattered."'
Nemo was later seen wearing bandages on stage after sustaining deep cuts to the thumb.
This year's champion is the first non-binary singer to win Eurovision with a song explaining coming to terms with the identity.
