Louis Dreyfus hits back in bidding war for Namoi Cotton

French agribusiness giant Louis Dreyfus has returned fire in the battle for control of Namoi Cotton and its strategic fibre and food infrastructure assets in NSW and Queensland.
Louis Dreyfus upped its takeover offer for Namoi to 60¢ a share on Monday, trumping the 59¢-a-share bid lobbed by Singapore-based Olam in March.
