Is using my PC as a heater while training AI a bad idea?

So I live in a shared house in Sydney, Utility bill is included in my rent but we are not allowed to have heater or aircon. It is very cold at night and I thought: "Wait a minute, I have a rtx4080 GPU. and a ryzen 9 7950x CPU". I have never considered this but if I use my PC to mine crypto or train AI at night. Would it generate enough heat to keep my room warm while being kinda productive? Is it worth trying or I'm just degrading my parts.

Read Ars Technica this morning and it will spit your coffee out of your mouth. Apparently a misconfiguration issue led to an account deletion with 600K plus users. Wiped out backups as well. You heard that right. I just want to know one thing. Who is the sysadmin that backed up the entire thing to another cloud vendor and had the whole thing back online in 2 weeks? Sysadmin of the year candidate hands down. Whoever you are. Don’t know if you’re here or not. But in my eyes. You’re HIM!

Skyblivion Lead here, my NVME died with a months worth of Dev progress and loads of personal docs/photos, some of people who have passed. Help

So my msi M480 boot drive wont get recognized in BIOS anymore unfortunately. I got a months worth of map progress on this drive along with documents and photos of loved ones some of which are not around anymore. Whats the best course of action here? Im not mr moneybags but Im willing to get this looked at by a proffesional and pay them. Some googling around showed me plenty of results of Data Recovery Companies in The Netherlands(where I live) but I didnt see anyone specify they could do this for an nvme drive.

Help me interwebs friends🥲
