Recommend me some stories Recommend me some stories

I am stuck in bed with covid and want to feel worse than I already do.

Favorite stories/novellas include “A Collapse of Horses” by Brian Evenson, “The Hospice” by Robert Aickman, “Don’t Look Now” by Daphne du Maurier, “My Death” by Lisa Tuttle, “Wylding Hall” by Elizabeth Hand, and “Stone Animals” by Kelly Link. Also that story by Nathan Ballingrud about the couple grieving the loss of their child who eat the body of that monster that fell from the sky (??) (cannot remember the name but I read it like 10 years ago and it continues to haunt me).

I seem to favor grounded literary horror, often in a domestic setting. Thank you!!
