Brian Regan
Episode "Should have known better"
I didn't expect that level of acting from Brian Regan. That man was so good it made me cry.

Hello! Like a lot of people, I'm just now discovering this show thanks to Netflix. I'm a huge fan of Brian Regan's comedy, so I was stoked to hear that he was in this. I'm on season 3 now, and I won't spoil anything, but HOLY SHIT I never expected to see Brian Regan do drama so well! The man can really act!
Side note for anyone who knows his comedy — I wonder if his character being named Winston is a nod to one of his stand-up bits? That would be a really fun Easter egg if that's the case. (If you haven't heard it, look up "Brian Regan Winston," hilarious bit!)
Fingers crossed for a Season 4!!

Events, get togethers, and suggestions on what to see and do in Columbus, Ohio!
The Minnesota Wild are a professional ice hockey team based in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The team began play in the 2000-01 NHL season and represents the return of the NHL to Minnesota following the North Stars' move to Dallas in 1993.
I know this is kind of a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone on this sub can help me identify the exact North Stars vs Blackhawks game that Brian Regan talks about in his standup bit: "Boo Sailboat" on Comedy Central. In it, he recalls being the "campaign manager" for Alex the Dog, who was the advertising mascot for Stroh's Beer in the 80s.
During a home game at the Met Center, Regan apparently came out onto the ice in-between the 2nd and 3rd periods of the game, following a fight between the two teams. He was there to "promote" Alex's "presidential campaign", but he bombed, and was infamously boo'd out of the arena. He mentions making a joke about the 1988 presidential election, and Alex the Dog was retired in '89.
Considering the whole marketing campaign was all about getting Alex elected as president, my best guess is that the game must've taken place during that election year, (1988) so either at the end of the '87-88 season, or the beginning of the '88-89 season.
Any help would be appreciated 🙏

He's my mom's favorite comedian and I had no idea this show was happening until today (I'm in Lynchburg) and they're sold out now. If anybody has some for sale let me know.

It's a clip from an old Brian Regan special or late night appearance, late 90's I think, where he does a joke about being a delivery man and hiding in trees from customers. I have scoured everywhere I could think but they're all either the wrong joke about weighing UPS packages or turn out to be dead links.
Any help I can get on this would be great, getting desperate and starting to think i hallucinated the whole thing.
Edit: Still looking for an actual clip but one of the AIs was able to confirm it's a bit of his from multiple appearances (all provided links were broken) and there's even a transcript of the bit. So if nothing else I know the joke exists and I didn't just make it up.

I saw this commercial and remembered the kernel of the commercial is an old Brian Regan joke.

I love Brian Regan, and I believe him to be one of the funniest comedians of all time. I have never really found someone that can really hold a candle to him in the clean world(or the dirty world for that mater). When I say clean, I am more concerned with cursing.
I do like Kevin Hart for reference. I am also really looking for someone with a lot of material if possible. And not a person with one standup special on dry bar. Thank you!
