Movies from your countries? And yes, American movies are welcome :)

I am totally hooked by horror movies and tries to watch atleast 2 per week. I figured out that 99% of all movies I watch are made in the US.

Even though I love American made horror movies, I would like to broaden my view and watch some from other countries.

So, I would love to hear about the best horror movies from your countries! Famous or not, doesn't matter. All sub genres are OK.

I'm from Sweden so I want to tell you about "Konferensen" - the Conference. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt26547864/ A very gory movie for a Swedish production, loved it! Forgot to add! It's on Netflix!

Looking forward to some nice, for me unknown, movie recommendations

”I was only a monster when I had to be” - why is Negan so unrepentant and still defending his actions in DC?

”I was only a monster when I had to be” - why is Negan so unrepentant and still defending his actions in DC?

Dead City 1x02 makes it seem that Negan murdering Abraham, and especially Glenn, was somehow necessary. And it seems quite insulting to say that to Glenn’s traumatized widow as well as his legacy and memory.

If Negan were to be reformed, he should be in lifelong guilt and shame over what he did, not even being able to look at any of the people he hurt, instead of bouncing around and being his old self again.

What do you think?

There's a couple of nice little touches in "Abigail" that foreshadow the revelation of just who her "father" is.

There's a couple of nice little touches in "Abigail" that foreshadow the revelation of just who her "father" is.

The most obvious is the use of "Swan Lake" as the music the titular girl vampire dances her ballet to, but if you look throughout the film, the massive country estate it largely takes place at has a symbol resembling a winged dragon. This symbol, originating from the original 1931 Bela Lugosi film, is a frequent visual hint that little Abigail's dad is indeed Dracula,as his crest is typically depicted as being a dragon. Clever little reward for the sharp-eyed viewer.

What's with parents in the zombie apocalypse?

What's with parents in the zombie apocalypse?

I love the Walking Dead universe. The original show and spinoffs are fun so this isn't hating on TWD, but I started watching the World Beyond and I keep wondering what with parents during the zombie apocalypse?

The whole concept of The World Beyond is Hope and Iris are on a cross country journey to find their dad who left to go do scientific research for the CRM. And it made me think of Michonne and how she just left her kids too to go on her own quest (I get it, Danai wanted off the show). But it seems like in the Walking Dead universe people are pretty ok with just leaving their kids with non-parents and going off on their own journey.

I mean, even at the end of the Walking Dead original series Daryl leaves Judith and JR to go find Michonne and Rick, proving Judith was right to never tell Daryl that her dad might still be out there because she knew Daryl would also leave like Michonne did. And then, even though Michonne left the kids with Daryl, he bails too lol.

What scenes can't you miss?

I posted a couple of weeks ago asking what scenes you couldn't watch, so now I want to know what scenes can't you skip? Last night as I was cooking dinner I had to drop everything and run into the living room to catch the scene where Colin Robinson is explain the big bang theory to Nandor. 'But this is a turtle' gets me every time!
