Link to article. Cochran sites declining health as his reason to resign.

Mississippi already has a senate election this November where Roger Wicker will defend his seat. This means there will most likely be two senate elections at once in Mississippi.

Who will likely run on the Democratic and Republican tickets? What would it take for one of the two parties to win? Could the Democrats pull an upset like Doug Jones did in Alabama?
