Why are posts about Kay Hagan downvoted into oblivion?

I understand there is a strong left/liberal/democrat bias on this sub, but seriously...downvoting posts with relevant information about a candidate seems like sinking into the game partisan politics and not allowing for the real truths to be viewed by everyone who visits and is interested.

I would image that those who do lean more democrat would at least want to know both sides of the story so as to be able to formulate a better opinion based on facts rather than relying on TV ads and our own predetermined biases.

Would it not be better to simply not vote, or upvote and then debate in the comments?

EDIT - I should have made it clear that articles CRITICAL of Kay Hagan are being downvoted into oblivion

I'm sure you have seen the negative Kay Hagan ad where they say she voted with Obama 96% of the time. Question??? What did she vote against? What was the 4%?

I just gotta know what the 4% votes was for? I'm sick of the commercial and it's only gonna get worse. These attack adds are getting to the point I don't care who gets elected. They're all a bunch of whining cry babies that can't stand on their own two feet. Does anyone remember anything that a candidate actually stood for. The only thing you know about any candidate is when they screwed up. You settle for the one that sucks the least.
