Finally (!!) actual democrats are coming around to what I've been saying for over a year. Inflation is tremendously higher than the official numbers. In the link below, Senator Bob Casey (democrat, Pennsylvania) says prices are going up 5 TIMES as fast!

If this is true, it means the official government inflation rate (3.7% last month) is actually closer to 20%. Which, if you think about it, might match what you personally see. Gasoline. Rent. Home prices. Restaurant meals. All the stuff the government says is “too volatile” to be counted in their official CPI data.

Bob Casey is calling President Biden out on this, although not by name. In fact, Senator Casey certainly wants everyone to re-elect Biden. Casey appears to be campaigning against “corporations”. Stop laughing. This is literally true. Actual quote: “Corporations the reason why prices are going up 5X faster than (Biden's) inflation rate”

This sort of logic opens the door to all sorts of political possibilities, when using statistics. We can soon expect to see candidates spamming us with the following angles:

• Homelessness is 5X the official rate. Corporate America isn't building enough houses (progressive spin)

• Illegal immigration is 5X higher than reported by the border service. Border agents aren't shooting enough gang and cartel members climbing the border fence. (MAGA spin)

• Drug deaths are 5X higher than official data. The government isn't legalizing narcotics fast enough. (Anarchist/state sponsored troll spin)

The possibilities of Casey-nomics campaigning are vast. No matter where you are on the political spectrum, the government has given you an opening because nobody believes the official data anymore. (Except possibly PBS, which is funded by the US government).

A reward if you've read this far: Yes . . . today's column is (somewhat of) a satire. Bob Casey certainly never made any price studies of his own. He's just a demagogue trying to stir up more class warfare in America. I'll stop short of claiming that he's a Manchurian Candidate-style foreign controlled puppet. But clearly Senator Casey is confused, incoherent, and an opportunist.

Casey's bizarre claim doesn't mean inflation is 5X higher than what the Biden administration is reporting, though. My guess . . . from looking at home listings, gas and other stuff . . .is that inflation is running about twice as high.

I'm just sayin' . . .

After writing my representatives, a reply received from PA Senator Bob Casey’s office contains messaging hostile to UAP whistleblowers and general whistleblower legislation. In his response he calls Grusch’s claims anonymous hearsay. He also frames Grusch as being unable to provide public details but fails to mention the classified status of the information or the fact Grusch desired to provide the information in a SCIF. He then continues to chastise whistleblowers for disclosing classified information that is a threat to national security.

It is important to keep in mind Senator Casey is on the and therefore has heard from numerous firsthand witnesses as confirmed by Vice Chairman Marco Rubio. They have also received additional classified briefings on the topic that other senators and congressmen have not. The fact he has access to additional information, but made no reference to it, seems to imply an intentional attempt by Bob Casey to play down or dismiss the subject in his response.

Thank you for taking the time to contact me about recent hearings and reports regarding Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). I appreciate hearing from you about this issue.

On July 26, 2023, the House Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs held a hearing titled Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Implications on National Security, Public Safety, and Government Transparency. This hearing offered Committee members an opportunity to hear of personal reports of UAPs to evaluate potential national security risks associated with UAPs.

The most notable of three witnesses called upon to give their personal accounts of UAPs was David Grusch, who worked on Pentagon task forces dedicated to investigating UAPs. Grusch testified to what he called "a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program" that has sparked the interest of many Americans and lawmakers. He also claimed the United States government is in physical possession of crashed alien spacecraft, that it has recovered nonhuman biological material within them, and that it has repressed American citizens in order to cover up this program. However, all these allegations relied on anonymous hearsay. No physical or forensic evidence has yet been discovered or presented to corroborate Grusch's claims, and Grusch was unable to publicly provide key names or details during the hearing. The hearing also highlighted legislative initiatives designed to enhance transparency concerning UAPs and addressed concerns about the government withholding information regarding potential hazards to public safety and national security.

As your United States Senator, I am committed to protecting the right to free speech and expression granted to all Americans by the U.S. Constitution. Whistleblowers expose behavior that threatens public safety or financial wellbeing and have been responsible for revelations of fraud and mismanagement in both the public and private sectors. However, the unauthorized disclosure of classified information can jeopardize our national security and endanger our citizens. While it is essential that the public and Congress remain informed about federal agency activities, we must also ensure that it is done legally and does not compromise our national security.

These two are the biggest cowards

Senator Casey,

I am writing to you with great concern after learning you are in support of “S. 686 RESTRICT act”. This bill has been introduced with a focus on foreign adversaries, but the bill is not limited to foreign companies or people outside of the U.S. for example I have underlined/bolded the descriptions in this bill that open the door to include American companies, persons and their ownership of securities/stocks/shares:

SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS

(3) COVERED HOLDING.—The term “covered holding”—

(B) includes any other holding, the structure of which is designed or intended to evade or circumvent the application of this Act, subject to regulations prescribed by the Secretary.

(6) ENTITY.—The term “entity” means any of the following, whether established in the United States or outside of the United States:

(A) A firm.

(H) A corporation.

(I) A group, subgroup, or other association or organization whether or not organized for profit.

SEC. 3. ADDRESSING INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES THAT POSE UNDUE OR UNACCEPTABLE RISK.

(a) In General.—The Secretary, in consultation with the relevant executive department and agency heads, is authorized to and shall take action to identify, deter, disrupt, prevent, prohibit, investigate, or otherwise mitigate, including by negotiating, entering into, or imposing, and enforcing any mitigation measure to address any risk arising from any covered transaction by any person, or with respect to any property, subject to the jurisdiction of the United States that the Secretary determines—

(1) poses an undue or unacceptable risk of—

(B) catastrophic effects on the security or resilience of the critical infrastructure or digital economy of the United States;

(2) otherwise poses an undue or unacceptable risk to the national security of the United States or the safety of United States persons.

My concern is that if a stock/security of an American company posed an unacceptable risk to the overall financial markets including Pension Funds, 401k, etc. that American citizens could possibly be forced to give up or sell their legally obtained holdings of that security posing a risk (including shares of an American company). For instance, there have been multiple admissions by the S.E.C. of naked short selling of securities in our financial markets in recent decades. One or multiple of these securities being sold naked going higher in value could potentially put some Market Makers and/or large financial funds at risk of liquidation, and present consequential turmoil/volatility in financial markets. This would be able to be considered a risk to the resilience of the critical economic infrastructure and therefore a national security threat.

This bill creates the possibility of infringing on the rights of American citizens to continue owning shares/securities that they have legally obtained. For example:

SEC. 4. ADDRESSING INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES HOLDINGS THAT POSE UNDUE OR UNACCEPTABLE RISK.

(a) In General.—The Secretary shall identify and refer to the President any covered holding that the Secretary determines, in consultation with the relevant executive department and agency heads, poses an undue or unacceptable risk to the national security of the United States or the security and safety of United States persons.

(c) Action By The President.—

(1) IN GENERAL.—Subject to section 13, with respect to any covered holding referred to the President under subsection (a), if the President determines that the covered holding poses an undue or unacceptable risk to the national security of the United States or the security and safety of United States persons, the President may take such action as the President considers appropriate to compel divestment of, or otherwise mitigate the risk associated with, such covered holding to the full extent the covered holding is subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, with respect to—

(A) the United States operations, assets, or property of the entity in which the covered holding is held, or of any products or services owned, controlled, designed, developed, manufactured, or supplied by the entity are used in the United States;

(B) any tangible or intangible assets, wherever located, are used to support or enable use of the product or software of the entity in the United States; and

(2) NON-DELEGABLE AUTHORITY.—The authority to compel divestment of a covered holding under paragraph (1) may only be exercised by the President and may not be delegated to any other individual, except as described in paragraph (4).

(4) ENFORCEMENT OF DIVESTMENT.—The President may direct the Attorney General to seek appropriate relief, including divestment relief, in the district courts of the United States in order to implement and enforce this subsection.

This would give the president legal authority to divest American citizens of their ownership of stock if that company were a digital and/or technology company. This bill does not limit to only foreign companies, but does also mention foreign adversaries. This is a direct threat to our freedom to own shares of specific companies.

As your constituent I am requesting that you reconsider your support of this bill. I hope to continue supporting you if you can reject this ‘RESTRICTION act S.686’.

I recently received a thoughtful response from Senator Casey regarding my letter on the legalization of medical marijuana in long-term care settings. Here's an excerpt from his email:

Thank you for taking the time to contact me about the legalization of medical marijuana, including in long-term care settings. I appreciate hearing from you. I have forwarded your correspondence along to my staff that handles health care issues, and they will be looking into your concern on my behalf.

I am working diligently to be responsive to the needs and concerns of the people of our Commonwealth and Nation. Please know that your views are very important to me, and I will keep them in mind.

I am grateful for Senator Casey's response and his commitment to addressing important issues. I'm considering reaching out to his office to discuss some questions I have. I admire his work and his dedication to the elderly, which is why I believe he could be the right person to help me with my passion for dairy farming.

Despite being disabled and in a wheelchair, I have a deep love for dairy cows and dairy farming. I used to work at Perrydell with Chip Perry, who expressed interest in working on a plan for me to help with milking cows and other tasks. However, I have been unable to get in touch with him recently.

I'm hoping Senator Casey could assist me in finding a dairy farm and connecting me with the right person who would be willing to put me to work. I'm a country boy at heart, and I'm eager to contribute to the farm in any way I can.
