“After the sale was completed last month, Elite KL’s new owners, listed as Griffin Newco Ltd, confirmed in an email to Palestine Action that they will have nothing to do with the previous owners, Elbit, and have discontinued any arms manufacturing.â€ALT

Kinda hate the media's recent obsession over trying to make a Muppet Show for an adult audience when Randy Feltface is right there.

He's an Australian comedian and he's talked about it all. Death, religion, politics, veganism, gender issues, etc. And on top of all of this he's still a singing, dancing puppet. It's like the R-rated version of Fozzie Bear. Some of his shows are on YouTube so go give them a watch if you like.

I think it is incredible that President Biden is actually feeling the pressure from our protests. No, he hasn't done everything he needs to and he hasn't redeemed himself for his role in all this, but the fact that he was caught on a hot mic saying Netanyahu needs a "come to Jesus meeting" about how horribly he's treating Palestinians? That's incredible. All our protests and boycotts have not been in vain. If we weren't making trouble, these governments could keep pretending that they've done no wrong- but they can't escape the blame.

It's encouraging. When you feel like our protests are falling on deaf ears, remember that McDonalds started the year with a loss of over a million dollars, Starbucks fell below it's quarterly sales and is considering closing locations, and people are paying attention- they're changing their opinions. And while these numbers may not be groundbreaking, they are the signs of real effects. Real change.

Never Shut Up About Palestine. Never let them think we are silent and complicit. Let history remember that our governments did not stand for us in this moment, and we did everything we could to make them listen.

On this Mother’s Day so many Palestinian children will be grieving the loss of their mothers, many of whom are still buried under rubble and yet to be found. On this Mother’s Day many mothers will be holding their enervated children in their hands, wishing for even a morsel of food to pass through—yet Israel continues restricting aid in the midst of its horrific starvation campaign. This cannot and should never be a new normal, nor should it be something we grow desensitized to. It should not be something we slow down talking about because “it’s been 6 months.” We should keep talking about it BECAUSE it’s been 6 months. These grieving children and mothers should never leave your mind for a second.

These people haven’t seen liberation yet. They haven’t so much as seen a ceasefire.

I also think it should be added that family-centric days are so very important to Arabs. We literally value nothing more than we do family—it’s how we’re raised. I can’t even begin to compute how the average Palestinian is feeling right now, having to celebrate Mother’s Day without their loved ones. It’s a level of grief none of us will ever understand, so the best we can do is keep the momentum going & be respectful to those who are directly affected by this ongoing genocide. This is not the time to impose your think pieces. It’s the time to give support.
